As a solution focused hypnotherapist, I’ve had the privilege of working with a number of clients navigating ADHD and one thing I see time and time again is this: they’re not broken, they’re overwhelmed.

ADHD can bring racing thoughts, difficulty focusing, emotional ups and downs, and that constant feeling of being “switched on.” It’s exhausting.

In our sessions, we don’t dwell on what’s wrong. Instead, we focus on how your brain works, what’s already going well, and how to build on that. Using solution focused techniques alongside gentle hypnosis, we help calm the mind, reduce anxiety, improve sleep, and create space for clearer thinking and better focus.

Many clients tell me they feel more in control, more relaxed, and better able to cope with daily life.

I made this when I was 9 years old.

I remember running out of the wool I’d planned to use… and feeling so disappointed. It wasn’t going to turn out how I imagined.

I had a choice:
start again - or adapt.

I carried on. Different colours, different plan… and I finished it.

Now I love it because it isn’t perfect.

It’s a reminder of something I see every day in my work as a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist…

We can’t always control what happens in life.
But we can choose how we respond.

When things don’t go to plan, it’s easy to focus on what’s gone wrong.
But when we gently shift our focus to what’s still possible, we create a way forward.

Small steps. Adjustments. Progress.

And often, something meaningful comes from it 💚

I really recommend this open and honest conversation between Tony from Cheshire Wellness & Mental Fitness CIC and Naomi Dake where they dive into mental health, mindfulness, and the small but powerful things we can all do to improve the quality of our lives.

Podcast Episode 8 is out now!

What an honour to chat with the amazing Tony Grimes and to listen to and share his own story. This lovely human is a true gentleman, the kindest and most humble of souls who has dedicated his life to helping and supporting other people.

Over 6 years ago, he founded and runs the Cheshire Wellness and Mental Fitness CIC group, as well as a number of other voluntary activities he undertakes. Every week he creates an open, welcoming space for people who need it in the community and this really has been life-changing for many people.

It was my privilege to get to shine a light on him for a change and to be able to listen to his own reflections, learning, experiences and wisdoms.

Even though I knew quite a bit of Tony's story, I certainly didn't know it all and listening to him share it so honestly and humbly, has filled me with genuine inspiration and awe at what he has been able to do (and continues to do for others) despite continuing to navigate horrendous chronic pain himself.

I'd really recommend giving it a listen, I believe there's value and wisdom for each of us in here.

The gift of mindful grace and loving kindness, taking your own power back, the choice of mindset, being fully present in your life to yourself and others - these are just some of the things we talk about in the Podcast episode with Tony.
