The refresh of Warwickshire’s Health and Wellbeing Strategy is underway, and till 21st September, an online survey is open for residents and those working across Warwickshire to share their views.

The strategy, which is updated every five years, sets out shared priorities for the county and provides a framework for councils, NHS organisations and partners to work together to improve outcomes for local communities.

The current priorities are:
- Mental health and wellbeing
- Addressing poverty and inequalities in health
- Promoting healthier lifestyles through physical activity and nutrition

Feedback from residents will play a key role in shaping the next phase of the strategy, ensuring it reflects both county-wide and place-based needs in North Warwickshire, South Warwickshire and Rugby.

The 10 Year Health Plan outlines a fundamental shift in how care is delivered — moving services closer to where people live and making more support available within local communities and at home.

By strengthening community-based care, we aim to reduce reliance on hospital services, improve access, and provide more personalised support. This approach not only improves patient experience but also ensures services are more sustainable and better aligned with the needs of our population.
