I love working at this beautiful and peaceful location. We’ve done hours of work, tech and lots of conversation here!

There’s some really good artwork on the walls which I like plus I usually have the same lunch which is delicious (bacon & Brie baguette!) and the coffee is good too.
The view is super-stunning even though it’s been misty every time we’ve been here…it still looks great 🌳

Today is all about love & hearts and I want to talk about heart health as it’s a subject close to my …. heart (!)

5 tips for a healthier heart ⬇️

🫶🏼 Prioritise Sleep ~ aim for at least 7 -9 hours of quality sleep per night. Lack of sleep can increase the risk of high blood pressure and heart attack.

🫶🏼 Movement ~ NHS recommendation is for at least 150 minutes of moderately intensive activity (like brisk walking) or 75 minutes of more vigorous activity (eg running) per week.

🫶🏼 Quality food ~ wholegrains, fruit and veg (eat the rainbow 🌈) and less saturated fat and sugar. Think leafy greens, brown rice, legumes eg lentils and beans 🫘

🫶🏼 Oily fish twice a week. So good for you. Make this a non-negotiable and feel the benefits. Salmon, mackerel or sardines. Have for a wholesome breakfast, in a poke bowl or grilled with veg 🐟

🫶🏼 Treat yourself with snacks of nuts and seeds and dark chocolate…in moderation 🌰 🍫

We are Anne and Debbie, aka The Retreat Girls.

Over the last 7 years we’ve worked together in various businesses and last year decided to add in our own exciting business to pull together our skills and resources and our passion for helping women to realise how amazing they are ♥️

We run events, workshops and retreats alongside a couple of charity projects too.

Life is very exciting looking for this year and we can’t wait to see how it all unfolds.
