🌟 Care Home Open Week – Celebrating Community, Connection, and a Whole Lot of Fun! 🌟
We’re thrilled to share the fantastic start we’ve had to Care Home Open Week, a time dedicated to celebrating everything that makes our care home such a warm, welcoming, and vibrant place to live and work. It’s all about community, collaboration, and connection — and we’ve certainly had plenty of that already! 💙
🔥 On Tuesday, we had the honour of welcoming the amazing team from Watford Fire Station for an insightful and engaging fire safety talk. Residents and staff alike thoroughly enjoyed learning about essential fire prevention measures, emergency procedures, and how to stay safe in and around the home. The firefighters were brilliant with everyone, answering questions, sharing stories, and even giving us a look at some of their equipment. A massive thank you to the Watford Fire Station crew for their time, expertise, and kindness! 🚒🧯👏
🍓 Wednesday brought bright skies and even brighter smiles as we hosted a Community Picnic in our lovely garden. Residents, staff, friends, and family came together for a joyful afternoon filled with delicious food, great conversation, and plenty of laughter. But the highlight of the day? Without a doubt, it was the chance for everyone to soak the management team! 💦😄 With sponges, water pistols, and buckets at the ready, residents and staff took great pleasure in giving the managers a good soaking — all in the name of fun and team spirit!
We’re so proud of the community we’re building here, and we’re grateful to everyone who has taken part so far. It’s been a heartwarming and hilarious start to what promises to be a very special week.
