Alma Hospital Trust

Alma Hospital Trust Our Alma Bi Hospital is an amazing place that delivers free medical services in a disadvantaged, remote, rural area in Hafizabad, Pakistan.

The Alma Bi Hospital operates in District Hafizabad, Pakistan. It's an amazing place that treats thousands of poor people each year for free. It owes its existence to Mohammed Younis (MBE), Watford postman and a remarkable individual who spent ten years campaigning to raise the £1million it cost to build. It's now a unique haven of western medicine amidst rural poverty, serving a population of around 150,000 people. The hospital is funded entirely by charitable donations, mostly through The Alma Hospital Trust in the UK. It's eschewed government or corporate support in order to ensure its integrity and high standards of operation. But these ethics clearly come at a cost and there's a constant struggle to raise enough money to keep the hospital going.

Don't let the sun set on Ramadan without securing your reward. 🌙✨

The most blessed month is leaving us. In these final, precious hours, ask yourself: Have I done enough?

At the Alma Bi Hospital in Hafizabad, the lights are still on, and our teams are still working. Why? Because diseases don't observe holidays, and poverty doesn't take a break.

Behind these walls, your Zakat is a lifeline for thousands of patients:

£30: Covers a basic diagnostic test and everyday services for a family of 4.

£60: Covers a cataract operation that gives the gift of sight.

£130: Covers a Caesarean section, saving lives during childbirth.

We were built on the integrity of a UK postman, Mohammed Younis MBE, who vowed that no one in need would be turned away. We are people-funded. Keep his promise alive tonight.

This is your final opportunity of 2026 to ensure your Zakat supports Western-standard care for those who have nowhere else to turn.

A postman's promise. A village's lifeline. 🏥📮

Mohammed Younis MBE started with a simple vision while working his Royal Mail routes. Today the Alma Bi Hospital is a 24/7 sanctuary in rural Hafizabad treating thousands of patients every single year.

This Ramadan we need your help to keep the gates open. For as little as £25 you can provide life-saving treatment to those who need it most. We operate on a strict Zakat policy where every penny you donate goes directly to medical services.

Give your Zakat where it matters most.

A sanctuary of healing, built with your trust. 🏥✨

For many in the heart of rural Hafizabad, dignified medical care is not just a luxury—it’s out of reach.

The late Mohammed Younis MBE (a UK postman who dreamed big) vowed that his mother’s legacy would be a hospital where the poor are treated free of charge, and with dignity. Today, the Alma Bi Hospital is that sanctuary.

This isn’t just a sterile ward. It is:

Maternity care that protects a mother’s life.

Emergency medical services performed by experts.

As you prepare to break your fast, please remember the thousands of patients who depend on us. Let your final acts this Ramadan secure their care.

🌙 Make your Zakat count. Honor his promise.

This is what 30 years of integrity looks like. 🏥📮

When you stand at the gates of the Alma Bi Hospital in Hafizabad, you aren't just looking at a building. You’re looking at the promise of a UK postman, Mohammed Younis MBE, who believed that high-quality healthcare shouldn't be a luxury for the few.

The Reality on the Ground:

Thousands of patients treated every single year.

Medical services for the poverty-stricken.

Western standards of hygiene and medical ethics.

Zero government funding—this is people-powered.

As we enter the final stretch of Ramadan, these gates remain open only because of your Zakat. In a region where a single health emergency can bankrupt a family, your support is the difference between recovery and despair.

🌙 Make your Zakat count where it is most needed.

This moment says everything.

After months of struggling to see, this elderly man sits quietly at Alma Hospital in Hafizabad, Pakistan — wiping his eyes as his sight begins to return.

For him, this treatment meant more than medical care.

It meant seeing the faces of his family again.
It meant independence.
It meant hope.

But for many families in Hafizabad, life-changing treatment like this is only possible because someone, somewhere, chooses to give.

As Ramadan enters its final days, your Zakat and Sadaqah can restore sight, heal the sick, and bring relief to those who have nowhere else to turn.

Imagine standing before Allah knowing your charity helped someone see again.

🤲 Donate now before Ramadan ends and help bring light back into someone’s life.
