Picking up from yesterdays post and continuing with the weeks theme of for the week - ACTION- take action for yourself. Take responsibility for your mental health. Take responsibility for your own well being.
Do something today which makes you active - use that gym membership which you are paying for (but don’t use!), go for a swim, go for a walk, go for a run, get off a bus/train stop before and walk the rest of the way, take the stairs instead of the lift, park in a spot that’s not so close to you destination so you add some steps to the daily count. Include action in your day you will feel better for it.

The theme this year is Action:
This means moving beyond just awareness and thinking to taking action, even just a simple action can improve workplace and personal mental health.
A check in on someone, buy someone an inexpensive gift, make someone a cuppa, just a smile or a compliment can make such a difference to someone’s day.
Making someone smile can give you a warm glow.
If someone does something nice for you play it forward.

Do something today for your own mental health.
Slow down - take a break - make a warm drink and sit still - don’t have any audio or visual interruptions - just focus on that cup - consider the temperature, the flavour, the sensations - listern to what you can hear around you but don’t engage - it does matter where you are home/work, city/countryside
Once you have finished that drink, tell me how you feel in the comments below.

This week is mental health awareness week.
Mission - each day starting this week ; reach out to someone, a friend, a neighbour, a family member, especially if you think they may be struggling. Your check in, your message or call could be the thing which makes their day or even saves their day.

May the 4th be with you 💫
Even an Ewok knows—strength isn’t always loud.
Some days, just getting through is brave enough.
The Force lives in small moments: breathing, resting, reaching out.
You’re doing better than you think 🌿
(Not quite an Ewok 😂)

What do you see?

What do you feel?

A useless apple core? Do you feel life is eating away at you?

Rubbish being put on a pedal stool? Does that create confusion?

Bit just imagine if this apple core fell off this plinth, would that be the last straw? OR
You could see the remains of something nourishing which still has the value to enable life in creating a new tree or maybe even 2?

What is eating away at you?
How do you feel about this?
Sometimes a fall happens before growth.
What opportunities are you missing?

Sometimes all we need is a little push or just someone to help to guide you through the fall.

Contact me if any of this resonates and you would like help through this time.

Nice little bit of CPD this week. It was overdue, some great people on the course.

The irony that it’s national umbrella day is not lost on me due to amount of rain we have had lately. It’s been feeling like I need to build an ark!
The rain has definitely been a reflection of the on going trials snd tribulations which made me stepped back for being on social media as much as I had been last year.
I have been concentrating on other things.
Sometimes the rain in our lives could feel like it is washing away or refreshing, without the rain things including ourselves cannot grow.
So with that said I’m back! And we continue to grow not just this page and community but also Therapy by… Jules

Weather or not, (it’s a pun not a mis-spell) in January many people make statements ‘new year, new me’ ‘get fit’, ‘lose those winter pounds’ New Year’s resolutions for positive change.
In a month which is advertised as Veganary, dry January; it can feel like the longest month has no pleasure after the excess of December.
You may have already given up on the new changes you wanted to make or fix in 2026. But it doesn’t have to be like that.
The chill factor may have just put that change on ice. Today is a new day.

I never ‘do change’ in January I always wait until February to make changes, after all it’s a shorter month!

What might you need help or guidance with?
