🧸🍓 Next week’s theme is Teddy Bear Picnic! 🍓🧸

As part of our food-themed sessions, we’ll be exploring food in a fun, relaxed and playful way — thanks to support from the Swansea Council Grant.

At SPECS, we believe children should be able to explore different foods in a safe, pressure-free environment — whether that’s to look at it, touch it, play with it or try a taste.

There can be so much pressure around food, and we simply want to give every child the opportunity to explore and enjoy at their own pace 💛

🍕 What a fantastic session today! 🍕

Our first pizza making session went so well — the children did amazing exploring, creating and getting stuck in 👏

We were also so proud of how well everyone did during tidy-up time. The teamwork and independence shown was brilliant to see!

An absolute brilliant session from start to finish 💛

💛 That’s a wrap on our Winter Wellbeing Grant activities! 💛

A huge thank you to the Swansea Winter Wellbeing Grant for funding our special events across October, December and February half term.

Because of this support we were able to run a range of fun, welcoming activities for families to enjoy together 🎨🎬🧩
