🌲🕯️ Yule approaches 🕯️🌲
We’re moving into the deepest point of the year now. The light is thinning, the world is quieter, and everything feels slowed, as if the Earth itself is asking us to listen. As the Winter Solstice draws closer, the Sun prepares to stand still and the longest night waits just ahead.
This threshold always feels powerful to me. The dark feels thick with memory. It’s a time when the veil feels closer and our ancestors feel nearer not in fear, but in comfort. I can feel them in the stillness, in the candlelight, in that familiar sense of being quietly watched over and remembered.
This is a season for tending the hearth, lowering the lights, and honouring those who walked before us. To rest where they once rested. To trust the cycles they trusted. To remember that we are never truly alone in the dark.
If you’re feeling inward, emotional, or deeply reflective right now, you’re exactly where the season asks you to be. The longest night is not an ending. it’s a turning point.
From the Solstice, the light will begin its slow return steady, patient, and inevitable.
Blessed Yule 🌲🖤
