Iโ€™ve got a small secluded spot I go toโ€ฆ 2 minutes from the town centre, but feels like a different world.

You wouldnโ€™t even notice itโ€™s there.
But once Iโ€™m thereโ€ฆ in itโ€ฆ everything changes.

Trees surrounding me.
A small stream flowing behind.

Back in the gym today after a couple of weeks off.

You always hear people sayโ€ฆ
โ€œItโ€™s so hard getting back into it after time off.โ€

I nearly thought that myself this morning.
Then something came back to meโ€ฆ

As my hypnotherapy mentor always used to say:
โ€œIf you think itโ€™s hard, it will be.
If you think it will be easy, it will be.โ€

Thatโ€™s true for everything in life.

We donโ€™t experience life as it isโ€ฆ
we experience it as we think it is.

A group I run each weekโ€ฆ
just sitting down, talking.

No pressure.
No structure.
Just space.

It always reminds me of somethingโ€ฆ

Nothing changes until someone takes that first step.

Walking through the door.
Saying something out loud.
Deciding theyโ€™ve had enough of how things have been.

One of the lads who comes along said recently
he feels the best he has in his adult life since having hypnosis.

But that didnโ€™t just happen on its own.

He showed up.
He opened up.
He made a decision to do something about it.
