Earlier in the week we were invited to Franklin's Gardens to meet with the team at Northampton Saints and Sporting Legacies.

Yesterday our Funeral Director Scott and Funeral Service Specialist Tamsyn popped across town and joined Saints fans and members of the local community as Jim and Simon (Sporting Legacies) presented 'The Northampton Saints - Memorial Wall'.

The memorial wall will afford fans the opportunity for their ashes to be interred at the stadium, the place that for many they class as 'home'.

Bruce Carter & Son Funeral Directors, with permission from the family are saddened to announce the passing of Mrs Tracey Warboys.

Born on Sunday 15th September 1968, Tracey sadly passed away at home in Wellingborough on Thursday 23rd April 2026, Aged 57.

Family and friends are warmly invited to attend Tracey's Funeral Service at Nene Valley Crematorium on Monday 11th May, 10:00.

Tracey was deeply loved and hugely respected by all who knew her, she will be sorely missed.

* No floral tributes please. Donations in lieu of flowers can be placed in the donations box on the day and will benefit Bowel Cancer UK

* Mourners are requested to wear a splash of purple.

Last week our Funeral Director Scott was joined by Alan, Connor, Craig and Mark as the team looked after a lovely family for Phillips Funeral Service in Corby.

The service was held at the stunning Great Glen Crematorium and Natural Burial Ground and Angela Darlow was our celebrant and she delivered a beautiful service that perfectly encapsulated the life of a much loved and hugely respected lady.

Victoria Marion did a wonderful job looking after the family, she even arranged for it to be sunny too, above and beyond 🙌🏻

Born on Thursday 8th November, Euna sadly passed away at home in Earls Barton on Thursday 2nd April 2026, Aged 91.

Family and friends are warmly invited to attend Euna's Funeral Service at Nene Valley Crematorium on Thursday 7th May, 14:00.

Euna was very much loved by all her family and friends and will always have a special place in their hearts.

Today our Funeral Director Scott was joined by Alan, Connor, Craig and Mark at the stunning Our Lady Of The Sacred Heart Church here in Wellingborough.

The team were on hand to help a wonderful local family say goodbye to a deeply loved lady, a Mum, a Nan, a friend and a neighbour who was deeply treasured, valued and respected by all who knew her.

Following the service we made our way to a sun kissed Doddington Road Cemetery for a short graveside committal.

Tamsyn was responsible for today's arrangements and, as she always does did a beautiful job ensuring that no stone was left unturned and no detail missed.

Born on Saturday 18th April 1942, Eileen sadly passed away at home in Rushden on Thursday 26th March 2026, Aged 83.

Family and friends are warmly invited to attend Eileen's Funeral Service at Nene Valley Crematorium on Friday 24th April, 13:00.

Eileen will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends.

Born on Wednesday 2nd March 1949, Joan sadly passed away at home in Rushden on Saturday 28th March 2026, Aged 77.

Family and friends are warmly invited to attend Joan's Funeral Service at Nene Valley Crematorium on Friday 24th April, 10:00am.

Joan will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends.

* At the request of the family please wear bright colours (avoiding white).

* No floral tributes please. Donations in lieu of flowers can be placed in the donations box on the day and will benefit Cats Protection.

✨️ School Prom Limousine Giveaway ✨️

With the school prom season rapidly approaching we here at Bruce Carter & Son Funeral Directors are excited to be able to offer our fleet of Mercedes Limousines to the school leavers of Wellingborough and surrounding areas.

This is the first year where we have offered this and we are so excited to be able to give something back to a community that has supported us so well over the years.

Use of our Limousine will come at no cost to the family, these stunning vehicles will be provided for FREE.

Alongside our Sister branch John Drage Funeral Directors we will have four Limousines available throughout prom season.

In order to qualify for a chance to win the use of our fleet all we ask is that you like this post, follow our page and leave a comment on this post with the date/time of the prom in question.

We will then announce the winners on Friday 1st May 2026.

Yesterday Andy, Funeral Director for H J Phillips & Son Funeral Directors and Phillips Funeral Service travelled over from Kettering to help support us with the funeral service of a much loved Mum, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister & Friend.

The sun shone down on Nene Valley Crematorium as friends, family and members of The Royal British Legion gathered together to celebrate a life well lived.

Andy was assisted by Alan, Connor, Craig and Mark, Tamsyn made the arrangements and Petal Cascade provided the beautiful floral tributes.

Born on Friday 28th June 1957, Neil sadly passed away peacefully and surrounded by his family at Kettering General Hospital on Tuesday 17th March 2026, Aged 68.

Family and friends are warmly invited to attend Neil's Funeral Service at Nene Valley Crematorium on Friday 10th April, 11:00am

Neil will be greatly missed by his Wife Dionne, Children Tab, Ty, Squeak and Tyson, Granddaughter Maeve and Daughter-in-Laws Emily and Megan.
