We are delighted to announce the launch of Mummy MOT appointments at our Osteo & Physio X clinic.

How does the Mummy MOT provide help for women?

Mummy MOT combines the principles of musculoskeletal assessment and functional exercise following pregnancy
It aims to provide mums with advice and education on mechanical changes and muscular imbalances that may lead to pain & dysfunction
The education emphasis the importance of addressing these to prevent postnatal complications including a restorative exercise program to regain balance, stability and optimal function in the body
The restorative element of the Mummy MOT uses different pieces of equipment including swiss balls and therabands to activate the important stabilising muscles
The functional exercise element of the Mummy MOT includes the education and formation of exercise programs alongside movement based pelvic floor exercises.
