Embracing a Seasonal approach to yoga, a practice for everyone to honour & nourish body, mind & spirit She trained with the 'Seasonal Yoga Academy', Glasgow under the guidance of Julie Hanson, Sue Woodd and Marit Akintewe and has since become a member of their teaching faculty. SEASONAL YOGA
Within a seasonal flow class traditional hatha postures (asanas), breath work (pranayama) and meditation techniques are adapted to mirror the energy of the changing seasons. Classes are taught to music and movements flow gracefully from posture to posture. The intention of the practice shifts to specific energy channels within the physical body to nourish and energise the linked organs of the season. PRENATAL YOGA
This class supports and prepares you body, mind and spirit for your birthing journey. Allowing dedicated time to connect to self, your growing baby and a community of like minded women. You are very welcome to join us at 14 weeks gestation following your prenatal scan up until the birth of your baby. No prior experience of yoga is necessary. POSTNATAL - YOGA for MUMMY & ME
The focus of this class is on new mums following postnatal checks (usually 6-8 weeks post birth) to support reconnection to body. Emphasis will be on core abdominal stability, releasing muscle tension whilst uplifting the mind and spirit. Within the yoga practice babies can enjoy time with mum and experience a sound and movement practice to establish calm so to continue to focus on mum. Following the class 30mins is allocated for tea and conversation. Beyond weekly classes Anna is available for 1-1 Yoga / Breath Work sessions, Group Workshops / Retreats incorporating Asana (Posture work), Pranayama (Breath work), Meditation & Nada Yoga (Sound work).
