Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is a modern, evidence-based approach that combines elements of Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) with clinical hypnosis to help people make positive changes in their lives. It’s future-oriented and emphasises a person’s strengths and resources rather than focusing heavily on past problems or traumas.

Here’s a breakdown of what it involves:

1. Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
Focuses on goals, not problems.
Encourages clients to visualize their preferred future.
Uses techniques like the miracle question and scaling to identify progress.
Builds on what’s already working, even if it’s just small steps.

2. Hypnosis
A relaxed, trance-like state (like driving from A to B).
Helps bypass the critical conscious mind and access the subconscious.
Reinforces positive suggestions and imagery that align with the client’s goals.

3. The Process
The therapist helps the client define what they want to achieve.

Burnout isn’t just exhaustion it’s a signal that we’re doing too much, too often, without enough rest.
We live in a culture that glorifies being “busy” 24/7, but the truth is, constantly pushing ourselves can harm our mental health, emotional well-being, and even our physical health.

Signs of burnout can include:
* Feeling emotionally drained and unmotivated.
* Struggling to concentrate or be productive.
* Constant fatigue, even after rest.
* Feeling detached or overwhelmed.

💡 How to prevent burnout:�1️⃣ Set boundaries: Learn to say no and protect your time.�2️⃣ Prioritize rest: Rest is productive! Make time for sleep, hobbies, and relaxation.�3️⃣ Ask for help: Lean on loved ones or seek support when needed.�4️⃣ Check in with yourself: Regularly reflect on how you’re feeling and make adjustments.

How Hypnotherapy Can Rewire Your Brain to Overcome Phobias 🧠

As a clinical hypnotherapist, I’ve seen incredible transformations in clients struggling with phobias. Here’s how it works:

When you encounter a trigger, your amygdala activates the fight-or-flight response, creating a feedback loop that reinforces the fear every time you face the trigger.

Hypnotherapy allows us to access the subconscious mind, where these fear patterns are stored. In this focused state, your brain becomes more open to forming new neural pathways, essentially rewiring your response to the feared stimulus.

The 3-Step Process I Use with Clients:

Deep Relaxation: Achieving a theta brainwave state, where the mind is highly receptive to positive suggestions.

Rewind: Breaking the automatic fear response by introducing new perspectives and reactions in this receptive state.

Reframe: Reinforcing calm responses repeatedly until they become the brain’s default reaction.

Real Results: One client overcame a 10 year driving on motorway phobia in just 3 sessions.

This is possible by harnessing the brain’s natural ability to form new neural connections in the hypnotic state.
