                                            Do you ever wake up feeling particularly anxious in the morning? Does it sometimes ruin your whole day. 
Anxiety is a normal response to a perceived threat.  Due to higher cortisol levels that peak in the morning as we have fasted through the night causing low blood sugar levels, cortisol activates our fight or flight mode. 
Ways to manage this; 
Establish a Morning Routine: 
 1 Create a calm, enjoyable routine to start your day, rather than rushing. 
2 Adjust Your Diet: Reduce or cut out caffeine, sugar, and processed foods, and focus on a healthy, balanced diet. 
3 Write down your worries from the day before you go to sleep in a journal, this can help by getting worrying thoughts out of your head.     If you feel anxious most of the time, counselling could help Julia mind Oasis
