When two worlds collide! Photographing at the brilliant where I am also massaging on a Tuesday afternoon. Thanks for stepping behind the camera . You have a natural photographers’ squat! Slightly out of focus but we’ll go with it! Wondering how much airbrushing I can get away with?

The One with Tennis Elbow

🎾Tennis elbow, or lateral epicondylitis, is an annoying aggravation of the extensor tendon on the outside of your elbow - often suffered by people who don’t play tennis. There is lots that can be done to relieve it though.

✅ Friction massage across the tendon firstly, followed by a number of different strengthening and stretching exercises.

🏋️Hold a small weight in your hand with your arm resting on a table and lift the weight up and down, keeping your arm still.

🙆‍♀️ To stretch with a straight arm, hold your arm out in front of you, with your palm out, rotate your arm inwards, and bend your wrist back.

It’s been a full on year of learning with The ISRM. Yesterday we did our final practical exam. Thanks to our amazing tutor Sarah, and some hard graft, we all sailed through. Absolutely loved getting to know you all and wish you all the best in your new ventures. See you at CPD! Xx

I am discovering the absolute genius of ChapGPT - slightly late to the party.

Here is an poem AI has written.

What is Soft Tissue Massage, by AI.

Soft tissue massage, a gentle art,
Treating muscles, tendons, every part.
With pressure applied, tension released,
Circulation improved, pain decreased.
Relieving soreness, enhancing flexibility,
Aiding well-being, with great ability.
In muscles, tendons, ligaments, they delve,
Soft tissue massage, a healing salve.

Thank goodness AI can't massage!
