Good afternoon,

I would just like to take a moment to thank absolutely everybody who has ever supported us at Climping for the past 5 years and it really does sadden me to say that I will not be returning to Climping cafe, over the past year it has been battle that I have unfortunately now lost.

So many memories have been made here at Climping and it’s definitely given me so much over the years and I am so grateful to my team, my loyal and friendly customers, to all my regulars I love dearly and I’m sorry I have to go but as you know, especially after losing Gracie (my dog) it’s been battle that my head could just not win and it’s been decided that my mental health is much more important. I’m 100% sure that you will be greeted by a new wonderful team once they all sorted so have no fear your cafe will be open again…

Il be closing down this page within a few weeks,

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you all for the past 5years, there’s been tears, tornado, floods, burst wall and collapsed marquees 😂 but there’s also been smiles, laughter, new friendships, events, charity fund raisers and god knows what else !!! I’ve learnt so much that I never thought I would. It’s been a rollercoaster il never ever regret.

And with that.

I say goodbye 👋 thank you all so much and I wish the next people the very best of luck and I hope Climping teaches them as much as it did me ❤️❤️❤️

I would just like to update on here, as I seem to be getting many messages/calls if the cafe will be open or I need to sort your parking fines!

Last week I lost my best friend, anyone who is a regular at climping beach will know that we absolutely adore all animals especially dogs so this is a very hard time for our house so close to Christmas.

The carpark will open when it’s in a better condition, last year I received so much abuse for a muddy carpark and the damage left behind by weather conditions and the environmental agency, I mentally can’t handle that this year, as it’s all out of my control..

Anyone who I’m sorting PCNS as always I will and am sorting them.

Cafe won’t reopen until next year now.

Good morning,

as many of our regulars would have noticed your little cafe on the beach has not been open, unfortunately our custom always slows down in the winter months and last year we managed to trade right up until December but this year due to our crazy rises in our energy prices, we can’t afford to open our doors and keep up with the bills it generates, it’s been a very hard year for climping and thrown more challenges than any other year we’ve had, so we’ve had to make the decision to close the doors until next year when we can switch energy providers.

We hope you understand,
we will be opening the carpark for people to use but only when weather is suitable, please pay at the machine next to the green cage as you enter the carpark to avoid a fine.

We hope everyone has a magical Christmas and it brings everyone joy and time spent with family..

We thank everyone who has supported us and visited us this year,

We will see you in the new year for what we can only hope is better than the last.

Unfortunately due to illness the cafe won’t be open today, our marquee has also moved due to the storms, please stay away until we’ve taken it down this week.

Cafe and carpark will remain shut for today, the field is very wet and becoming damaged, the pot holes are becoming quite deep again at the entrance of the carpark we will be filling them over the course of the winter but in the mean time when using the carpark please drive slowly throughout the carpark when it’s open.

Good morning,

I just thought I’d update on here due to some complaints we are not open long enough or we haven’t got our hot counter on and filled, unfortunately our electric company is making nearly impossible for us to open our doors with its extreme raise in prices, we are absolutely devastated at what they are doing and please understand it is causing great stress for us personally, we need our doors open as much as you want them open, we are working extremely hard to switch providers to make it possible for us to get back to normal trading but please just understand this isn’t by choice.

🎃🎃🎃 🎃 remember last year when we attempted Halloween party and it got blown away in a mini tornado 🌪

Well this year the weather is being kind and we’ve been given the all clear!!!

SATURDAY 29th OCTOBER FROM 12pm TILL 3pm
We have a Halloween party for the kids to enjoy..

🎃 fancy dress competition (takes place at 2pm)

🎃 face painting

🎃 apple bobbing

🎃 find the pumpkin to win a prize

🎃 chocolate apple making

No pre-booking needed, just turn up on the day and pay at the marquee for the activities you want 💖

Come give us a visit, all staff will be in fancy dress also, with spooky music playing and decorated for the occasion, you don’t want to miss us this Saturday.

We love an event and one where we can dress up, count us in!!!!

The weather is never in our favour, especially when me and this lady pair up to pull off an event 🙈😂 today was no different, we turned up this morning to a marquee full of water with muddy puddles everywhere and the rain not easing up,

But somehow we done it again!! And just in time before the next lot of storms hit…
