The MTA girls nailed the 10k walk in support of Cancer in 30 degree heat yesterday. The three of us did it in 1hr 40mins. Thanks to all those who supported us - we raised £605.

MTA's summer social event where we all enjoyed an afternoon of Boules on Friday. Amazing how competitive people become!! A few beers were consumed and a good ploughman's lunch provided 🧀🍻. Well done to Tim and Mike for winning hands down🥇 (something to do with cricket?)!!

Staunton Country Park Project - A Regency Landscape Revealed
We have just heard that the HLF Trustees have approved the Round 2 Application for this project as a high priority and so we will be getting stuck into this one very soon! Excellent news.

Leicester Cathedral Project Awards
This project has won three RIBA awards!!
RIBA East Midlands Regional Award 2017, Regional Building of the Year 2017 and Regional Project Architect of the Year for Josh McCosh of van Heyningen and Haward Architects. Our congratulations to Josh - an amazing honour. MTA are proud to have been part of the team.

West Horsley Place - a new project won.

This Grade I Listed House, situated in a 300 acre Estate with important Grade II listed buildings, was owned by Mary, Duchess of Roxburgh, until her death in 2014. A surprised Bamber Gascoigne discovered that he had inherited the Estate in her will. The house and buildings in the grounds were in a very bad state of repair and Bamber decided to form a charity, with the intention of restoring the buildings to their former glory and providing a venue for the Grange Park Opera. The Mary Roxburgh Trust was born.

MTA have been appointed as part of the Architect’s team (David Lloyd-Jones) for the refurbishment/re-presentation of the house and development of outbuildings to form a new Arts Centre. As part of the phase 1 works, MTA will be surveying the existing services to the Main House, the Stables and Cottage 4 and proposing options to allow both fine dining in some rooms as part of Grange Park Opera’s Festival events and for the House to operate as a Wedding Venue, whilst the main refurbishment takes place over the next couple of years.
