The Westbury would like to say a massive thank you to the Westbury Lions Club for an amazing afternoon yesterday 🩷
Many of our lovely residents and staff enjoyed an afternoon filled with music, a fantastic selection of sandwiches and beautiful cakes, all made by Lion Club members along with plenty of tea and coffee ☕🍰
The afternoon was provided free of charge by the amazing Westbury Lions Club, and it truly meant so much to everyone who attended. Some of our residents were lucky enough to win raffle prizes, and everyone received an Easter egg 🐣
A special congratulations goes to our amazing Aunty Kit, who won a beautiful hamper filled with fruit and chocolates for being the oldest person there at an incredible 101 years young! Congratulations, Kit 🎉
We all had an amazing time, and our residents thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon.
Thank you once again to the fantastic Westbury Lions Club for such a brilliant afternoon. We look forward to seeing you all again next year🥰

Yesterday, The Westbury had the pleasure of taking along some sweet bags for guests attending the Westbury Lions Club Afternoon Tea to enjoy on their way home 🍬
We were so touched to receive a special thank you from the Lions, who said the sweet bags were such a thoughtful addition to the afternoon and greatly appreciated by everyone.
It was wonderful to be able to add a little extra sweetness to such a lovely community event 💜

We celebrated two birthday’s yesterday and today at The Westbury 🥂
Yesterday was our lovely Diane, who celebrated with a Baileys anda piece of her favourite cake a Victoria Sponge 🍰
Today it was Christine’s birthday! Christine celebrated with a glass of Rose wine and her favourite cake also Victoria sponge 🍰🎵

Yesterday afternoon there was some planting happening!There were various ready to be planted, which included Zinnias, Rose Champion, Cosmos & Foxglove.
Some of our lovely residents helped Kevin with the planting, while other residents enjoying watching.
The residents also planted some Sunflower and Pumpkin seeds🌻🌻
We can’t wait to wait to watch them all grow! Watch this space for more photos🌻😘

🎵 Another fantastic Pub Night at The Westbury
last night as we welcomed back the amazing Belle St Singers! 🎶🎵
The lounge and conservatory were filled to the brim with happy residents, family, friendsand staff.
Everyone enjoying the beautiful harmonies and incredible voices of the Belle St Singers!
Feet tapping, arms swaying, and some of our residents and staff up on their feet dancing! 🍷🥂
The atmosphere was full of fun, laughter, and smiles as everyone thoroughly enjoyed joining in and singing along.
It was another hugely successful evening that left everyone s smiling 😜
A massive thank you to the incredibly talented Belle St Singers, we can’t wait to see you again very soon! ❤️🎵

The lovely therapy dog Coco came to visit the residents at The Westbury today🐶

The residents always look forward to seeing Coco and can't wait for cuddle with her.
She loves to sit on their laps so she can get all the strokes and fuss. It is amazing how much of a difference a little time with a dog, cam do to brighten up our residents day. The smiles on everyone faces says it all! 🐶❤️😜
