We have been raising standards for 25 years across three core service lines; security, construction logistics and business services. In security, we employ more than 1,500 SIA licenced security officers who provide protection for a business, its assets, people and reputation. Our experts advise on the latest security technology including CCTV, alarm systems and data, as consultants help mitigate risk whilst adding genuine value to each client. A highly flexible approach enables us to combine the expertise of different logistics management fields such as transport, storage, material movement and people flow. In business services, we supplement client operations with security and logistics consultancy and services that improve safety, efficiency and the customer experience. Celebrating colleagues from our museum sites who have been recognised for their exceptional contributions, delivering high standards of service and professionalism.

Congratulations to Mandeep Khaira and Beata Kurzyn at the Natural History Museum who were selected to receive Spotlight awards for their outstanding service to visitors and colleagues.
Our congratulations also go to Yiber Mazreku and Waclaw Ceynowa at the Victoria & Albert Museum, and Slavitsa Davcheva at the Science Museum who received Spotlight awards for their continued commitment, dedication, and professionalism.  Well done to all the winners for their consistent hard work. All awards were presented by Allison Dickin, Business Director and Stephen Kerr, Account Director.

Starting 2026 on a high with 1,001,457 Wilson James people-hours worked across all sites. Our colleagues also demonstrated a strong commitment to continuous development, completing a total of 1314 modules on our learning platform.

The Wilson James Veterans Network has evolved into the Wilson James Veterans and Blue Light Network, reflecting the growing reach of the network, and its commitment to supporting colleagues with both military and blue light service backgrounds.

Since its launch, the network has seen steady growth in membership and engagement, bringing together colleagues from across the business who share similar experiences. It provides a space where people can connect, support one another, and feel part of a wider community within Wilson James.

Welcoming a new visitor to our City office - Watchbot. 🤖

This autonomous security and inspection robot from Star Robotics is preparing for it’s WJ debut as part of our ongoing partnership.

Watchbot is designed to support surveillance and inspection activity by autonomously patrolling environments, gathering data, and assisting with routine or hard-to-access monitoring tasks.

Congratulations to Sarah Wemyss, Security Officer for receiving a Silver Extra Mile Award. Sarah was awarded with a Silver Extra Mile for being the first responder on two first aid incidents. Sarah had recently taken the first aid assistance training and followed procedure excellency and confidently during both incidents. Sarah was presented with her award by Vicki MacFarlane, Deputy Regional Operations Manager.

Congratulations to Elliot Singleton based at Hinkley Point C for winning a Rising Star award at the 2025 Manager’s Day. This award recognises Elliot’s excellent hard work throughout the year. Here he is being presented with his award by Ollie Stilgoe.

Our Second congratulations goes too Robert McMullen for receiving a Bronze Extra Mile Award, Robert was awarded for compiling a presentation with potential BAU hazards and risks, and on training for many operations. Here he is being presented his award by Alex Schiopu.

Extra Mile Awards 🏆

Congratulations to Jason Dawson, Darwin Currie and Jake Brown, Plant & Fleet Chargehands for Wilson James (HPC), who received Bronze Extra Mile Awards.

These awards are in recognition of their outstanding efforts in successfully integrating Dalkia into the team. They ensured a smooth transition from MEH operators to Dalkia, while maintaining high standards of PVPI and Health & Safety throughout the process.

Well done Jason, Darwin and Jake for their hard work.

Last year our security team at CBRE, launched a Christmas food bank collection to support London foodbanks most in need, and this year they were proud to continue this initiative again🎄

The 2025 collection supported the Trussell Trust and Hackney Foodbank, two very important collections.

Thanks to their generosity, they were able to make a meaningful donation, which was delivered in person by Kim Fardon and Terry Walls.

This Christmas, the WJ team at Gatwick Airport partnered with Crawley Open House to support people experiencing the effects of homelessness, loneliness, and unemployment.

20 colleagues prepared over 150 home-cooked meals for Open House guests. Meanwhile, WJ teams joined together to raise additional funds, and our supplier Uniform Express donated warm weather packs to help keep people safe and well this winter.
