If there was a buffet, I was there. If there was a 'quick fix' promising weight loss by Tuesday, I probably gave it a go. And yetâI stayed overweight. Masterfully, consistently overweight.
Now, before you roll your eyes and think, "Here we go, heâs going to flog a diet," let me stop you right there.
Iâm NOT promoting any diet. I donât believe in them. Neither do I use them. And frankly, I think most of them should come with a warning label: may cause madness, disappointment, and late-night fridge raids.
BUTâI use a couple of lifestyle changes.
Not diets.
Lifestyle changes.
And these actually work.
Theyâre fun, easy, and most importantlyâthey fit into real life. You know, the one with birthdays, stress, late dinners, and no time for counting almonds.
Iâll explain exactly what the major change was in the next section, but for now, just know this: they changed everything.
Theyâre why I finally lost the weight.
Theyâre why Iâve kept it off.
And theyâre why I can now walk past a mirror without shuddering.
