Introducing: Save a Life Sunday 🚨

Every Sunday I’ll be sharing a quick, powerful fact from the world of first aid and medical training because knowledge saves lives, and sometimes the smallest piece of information can make the biggest difference. 🙌🏼

Research shows that when a woman has a cardiac arrest in a public place, she is significantly less likely to receive CPR from a bystander compared to a man. Reasons can include uncertainty, fear of causing harm, or hesitation about touching a woman’s chest — but cardiac arrest doesn’t wait, and CPR can double or even triple a person’s chance of survival.

On International Women’s Day, it’s an important reminder that lifesaving skills should be used confidently and equally for everyone. A life is a life. ❤️

On all AJ Medical Training Academy Courses, we discuss the importance of the campaign, recognising unconscious bias, and how we can build confidence in delivering the equally high-quality of care to all women, whilst maintaining dignity at the same time. 🦸‍♀️

🫀 Learning CPR could mean saving someone’s mother, sister, partner, friend — or even a stranger.

Proud to once again provide full clinical event cover for the Weston Hospicecare Men’s March 2026 💙

For this year’s event, AJ Medical deployed a mobile response unit alongside a staffed medical triage tent, delivering responsive, on-site clinical support throughout the day. From minor injuries and blisters to more complex presentations, our team ensured walkers received timely assessment and treatment while keeping the event flowing safely.

Beyond the clinical care, we loved engaging with participants along the route — motivating tired legs, supporting those pushing through challenges, and sharing in the incredible atmosphere created by hundreds of fundraisers. 💪🏼

Weston Hospicecare is a valued ongoing partner of ours, and we are incredibly proud to support them across their events year after year. Supporting a charity that gives so much to the local community is always a privilege.

Brilliant session recently with Somerset Council Staff delivering essential First Aid training.

From office-based staff to tree surgeons working out in the field, every single attendee got hands-on with the skills that truly make a difference in an emergency.

First aid isn’t just for clinical environments, it’s for everyone. Confidence, teamwork and practical skills that could one day save a life.

We’re proud to equip more people with the confidence to step forward when it matters most.

Front and centre in Weston-super-Mare 🏖️⛷️ AJ Medical was proud to provide medical cover for the National Ski Race Event last month!

Our paramedic Tom was on duty throughout the day, delivering outstanding clinical support and ensuring everyone was in safe hands should they become injured or unwell. 💙 He did a brilliant job keeping the event running smoothly and safely with support from who ran the safety boat on the water!

When another provider let them down, AJ Medical happily stepped in to support last weekend — and what an event it was!

Our team pulled together at short notice to provide expert medical cover for a day full of laughs, music, skateboarding and fundraising 💛 We were proud to support two fantastic charities and help keep everyone safe while they enjoyed the fun.

Big thanks to the organisers for trusting us — and to our team for showing up with skill, smiles, and bags of energy 🙌

An amazing day delivering first aid training to a brilliant group of staff and volunteers who all play a vital role in supporting the Weston-super-Mare community — including the fantastic team behind the new Food Pantry 🥦👏

We covered a range of essential topics, from CPR to Primary and Secondary Surveys to managing bleeding, and the engagement throughout was top class! 🏆
