Happening tonight. 💜

Some people think there is no space for discussions around race & culture, but the fact that this forum has sold out two years in a row speaks volumes 🙌🏾.

People in Weston want to come together. We want to understand one another, celebrate different cultures and identities, and shape a town that truly reflects all of us.

I’m proud to be the producer of Weston’s Annual Black History Forum 2025, created by the community for the community. This is an exciting time for Weston and I can’t wait for tonight’s forum.

If you have a ticket but can no longer attend, please contact Front Room Theatre so your ticket can be offered to someone else. And if you missed out this time… make sure you get in early next year 😉

This summer we launched Grief as Grace: A Black Women’s Archive in Weston-super-Mare.

This project began with my own walk with grief and has grown into a living archive of the narratives of Black women. At our launch we listened, we cried, we laughed, we ate together, and we held space for transformation.

A selection of the first seven narratives are now live online: www.griefasgrace.buzzsprout.com

(Some are only available at live exhibitions.)

✨ The next opportunity to experience Grief as Grace will be at The Common Room, 32a Orchard Street, Weston-super-Mare, from 24–30 October 2025.
