Happy Yule / Winter Solstice ❤️

One of my favourite days of the year.

Time to pause and appreciate everything that I have , I’m going to light candles , incense and go slowly today.
I’ll spend some time in meditation and journaling, eat good food with people I love.

However you celebrate or if you don’t just take 5 minutes to pause today and feel the Solstice energy , and get in touch with what this day meant to your distant ancestors ❤️✨

Hey beautiful people 💜✨

It’s been a bumpy year and I just want to say thank you for all of my clients who have showed me so much compassion and understanding through 2025.

As most of you know I lost a friend this year and that coupled with my autoimmune Thyroid disease and lots of other ‘things’ I have been finding so tricky to manage.
So my body, mind & spirit have spoken and told me it’s time to take a good break to look after myself and so I can continue doing what I love ☺️✨

I will be taking a break from the 20th of December and will return again on the 19th of January.

If you want to book for next week or January please get in touch, I will still reply whilst I’m off it might just take a little bit longer ,

🍂Autumn Layers of luxury Package🍂

Choose a combination of a 1 hour Thai Foot Massage & 30 minutes of Tsuboki or Indian Head Massage this October or November.
Where? In the cosy Purple Patch cabin under a soft heated blanket .
Ending with a Hot Chocolate or Herbal tea .

A little reminder of what Thai Foot massage involves:
Using thumbs, hands and a wooden acupressure tool, massage is applied to the lower legs and feet using rubbing, kneading, stretching and vibration techniques.
A little reminder of Tsuboki:
Neck massage to relieve tension in the neck , a detailed face massage and working more than 40 acupressure points around the face and shoulders. This provides rejuvenation and a sense of wellbeing and finishes with lymphatic drainage!

A little reminder of Indian Head Massage:
Deep strokes and kneading to relax and manipulate muscles in the neck, shoulders, and scalp.
Circular massage strokes and friction to relieve knots and improve circulation.
Acupressure on specific points on the head, neck, and face.

Welcome to Purple Patch if you’re a new or old visitor.
The treatment space I provide is always dedicated to making it as comfortable as possible for everyone.
Realising as a neurodivergent person how hard it can be to do ‘normal’ things in the world is really quite hard sometimes.
I meet a lot of people that have never had a massage or treatment before and being neurodivergent often comes with a lot of pains in the body , mind and spirit.
So it’s hard to hear that people who may need treatment the most (and a lot of the time end up with chronic health conditions) don’t feel able to access treatments.
I am working really hard on making my environment right and I know smells , temperature, textures and sound levels (to name a few) can all have an impact on being able to feel comfortable in any space.
I am able to slow down my massage and experiment with the right kind of touch and pressure for you. I know even some gentle strokes in certain areas can feel painful sometimes for people that are extremely sensitive to touch. Or sometimes people may need a lot of pressure to feel comfortable. The massage (or any treatment) can be paced differently and adjusted the whole time for areas where the treatment feels sensitive, this can be communicated with hopefully no fear however many times it might need to change.

I can really feel us leaning into Autumn this week! 🍁🍂
I am trying to explore local areas at the moment I have never been , and get out walking more.
I find it hard to walk on my own without my dog (as she has a bad leg) It feels quite vulnerable in a way and I enjoy it more if I walk in company. But I’m pushing myself to just breathe and not let the anxiety take over. I’m surrendering having to walk for a certain time or follow a certain route, I am just letting my inner explorer loose.
The photo 📸is in Redbourn so near to me but I’d never been ! And I still have more to see, it’s great to be a tourist in my own county ❤️
If you find it hard to walk alone I’d be happy to walk with you ☺️ , if you don’t know I’m in Kimpton but happy to venture all over for walks locally.

In other news I have finally done my first tattoo on actual skin! Thanks to my beautiful friend and my husband . I am looking forward to more tattoo time, I absolutely love hand poke tattooing !

I haven’t posted for a couple of months now !

Outside of Purple Patch Holistics I have been focusing on connecting with my friend who is really poorly , and also his gorgeous husband ❤️

But I thought I would pause and take a breath for a few moments and share with you….
So here are some photos of the last couple of months I have had.
Time has passed so quickly has felt hard at times. I so grateful for all the bursts of light guiding me on my journey still, the people that support me and bring absolute joy 🥰
In the last couple of months I have….

Visited the theatre with my surrogate daughter to see & Juliet,

Practiced Sound Healing,

Taken beautiful walks with myself and connected with nature,

Visited the New Forest and my friend Dawn and niece Sophia .person

Explored London, visited the Royal Opera House , and finally brought my Christmas present- Vivo Barefoot shoes! With my friend Martina,

Watched my beautiful friends get married and also created and read a reading for them as part of their blessing at the church ❤️

Began watching the original Star Trek which has brought surprisingly a lot of laughter,

I’ve cooked nourishing dinners,

Spent time drawing and being creative coming back to that love,

Spent time with friends, talking, mooching round charity shops, and received a beautiful gift from one of my best friends Flo ( I love my Aqua Aura crystal ☺️✨),

I have given many treatments to many beautiful humans, new friends (clients) and old ❤️

And most importantly I have taken more time to rest and just be , listening to my body and what it needs .

Time seems to move so fast , I plan to spend more time creating beautiful offerings for Purple Patch to really nurture people and provide what they need,

I’m learning to find my balance between my heart and my mind , my fire and my earth , my water and my air, I feel into my spirit more bringing me more of what I need and can give to others ,

I’m also attending Stick and Poke tattoo training tomorrow, to focus on my creative joy and my first love ❤️
