So how does acupuncture work?

Considering how gentle it is, acupuncture really packs a punch.

Very fine, single-use needles are inserted into specific body points to activate your natural energy (Qi) via bio-electrical pathways that span the nervous system.

This aids healing by stimulating blood flow, removing toxins, and releasing your body's restorative feel-good hormones like endorphins, serotonin and dopamine.

But, while acupuncture is highly effective at managing localised pain, it also roots out the deeper cause of your challenges and works to restore balance to your whole system.

By connecting the dots across your nervous system, so to speak, acupuncture can reset the health, wellbeing and vitality at your core and make you feel like you again.

Are you Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal or Water?

According to Five Element Acupuncture, each one of us belongs to one of these five elements. It defines our character and brings unique strengths and benefits. However, as it loses its balance over time, it also brings unique emotional and physical challenges.

By diagnosing your 'guardian' element, we can untangle these challenges. And by gently treating your body's key energy pathways with acupuncture, we can restore its original harmony and unlock the health, wellbeing and vitality at your core.

Feeling under the weather?

The changing of the seasons can disrupt our vital energy flow, bringing physical and emotional challenges as we struggle to adapt. Stimulating acupuncture points dotted along your body's natural energy pathways opens up these powerful channels and helps to harmonise and strengthen your body, mind and spirit.
