A massive well done to 4 of our lads who along with their team mates at college have won the men’s division 1 North east championship. 🔥

⚽️ LDG AND WHAT WE DO ⚽️

Lads, Dads & Grandads started in March last year after a few conversations between mates about getting fitter, improving men’s mental health and just getting lads together more often.

What started with 15 lads having a kick about has now turned into a group of over 60 lads, dads and grandads.

In our first year we’ve sponsored a football team, bought a local school a full football kit and helped out where we can in the local community. Not bad for a bunch of blokes who spend half the game holding their hamstrings.

Over the next few weeks LDG will be taking another big step by becoming a Community Interest Group. This will open more doors for us and help us do even more for lads, dads and grandads in the area.

We play every Thursday from 8-9pm at Eskdale Community 3G pitch and anyone is welcome to come down and see what we’re about.

Big things are coming for LDG, so keep following, sharing our posts and supporting us while we take things to the next level.

Apologies if things have been a bit slow on here lately. After the emotions of the last few weeks I’ve just needed a bit of time to readjust and reset.

Lads find it hard to talk and open up. I don’t know why it’s just what we do. 🤷🏻

There should be no stigma when it comes to stuff like this. We keep our bodies healthy by playing football but what about our heads? 🧠 🤯
