Can anyone else resonate with these thoughts or is it just me??

Just when you feel like you’re getting somewhere on your healing journey you realise there are still some golden nuggets to uncover hehe.

So let’s do it together??

21 days to be kind to yourself, learn how to celebrate yourself in a way that feels real, and explore self love.

One of the main blocks I see with the women I work with is how much they value themselves, how worthy they feel of time for themselves, of rest, pleasure, service from others... myself included.

Each week, we will dive into short daily practices, including somatic therapy, guided meditations, and journal prompts.

Week One - Self Kindness:
Navigating negative self talk, the inner critic and luteal tension.
Exploring treating yourself like a friend, acts of kindness and receiving.

Week Two - Self Celebration:
Navigating keeping ourselves small, high standards and perfectionism.
Exploring taking up space, celebrating small and big wins, taking the pressure off & supportive community.

Week Three - Self Love:
Navigating people pleasing, unworthiness and holding on to guilt.
Exploring boundaries, pleasure and abundance!

After seeing the INSANE images of our British beaches on Monday, I wanted to share five of my favourite tools for cooling ourselves down, both internally and externally!

1. Sitali breath, loop you’re tongue or if you can’t then we’re sipping cool air through your teeth with the inhale. Imagine each exhale through your nose some of the internal heat is leaving you.

2. Palms up whether your lying or sitting. Especially if they’re sweaty! No jokes I legit feel like this saved my life on hot as the sun buses in Central America.

3. A spritz! I kept water spray bottle by my bed in Aus when I lived in a flat with a tin roof and no air con.
A fan with a bowl of ice behind it was another great trick.
I have been LOVING the Inhale blend from this week for a refreshing upgrade to water.

4. Get your legs up! Any version of viparita karani is great to cool down, aid circulation and is also great for calming your whole system before bed.

5. Soothe yourself - needs a whole post of its own but our emotional and physiological state feed each other. The more flapping and stressing you do; the more hot you will feel 😬

Save this for the next time you feel too hot and bothered.
Not just for heatwaves - perfect to regulate your temperature for festivals, holidays, and peri menopausal hot flushes too!

Festi season has officially begun and I couldn’t be happier. I feel so at home in a field or woodland, connecting, moving, expressing ourselves.

I used to think I needed the drinks to have fun but now that couldn’t be further from the truth.

Waking up at 7 refreshed and ready for more practices to dive deeper and deeper into my soul, energised by joy, cacao, chai and pure vibes.

Although now I have glamped I’m not sure I could go back to camping 😂

Feeling very grateful and heart-full after a right at the last minute decision and much needed time for myself.

For all my space holders here - you gotta make time for it loves. It’s so essential to everything!

Highlights included the most epic ecstatic dances, incredible breathwork journey under the trees, so much yoga I think my legs have fallen off, and a beautiful Kirtan to close.

I’m left feeling excited for our summer session coming up, and inspired to create more offerings for you!

For my loves that feel all floaty and calm in a yoga class or dedicated space, but struggle to create that for yourself, at home and in your life.

Excuse the bathtub - I’ve been holding myself back here recently thinking posts need to be perfect so here it is, raw and unfiltered - bath time is always where the words flow for me.

It’s not that you can reach the goal of calm on your own. You absolutely can.

If someone that struggled for years with panic attacks, anxiety, low self worth and insomnia can - I believe you can too.

But it requires a little digging.
Or gold mining as I like to call it. 🍯

In a safe supportive environment - we need to explore the blocks, physical or emotional, and underlying beliefs in your nervous system.

Are there loving boundaries that need to be set or difficult conversations to be had?

Are there changes that need to be made?

Are there parts of yourself that aren’t being heard or held?

Do you actually feel worthy of living in a calm body that can rest and receive?

In case you don’t know me - my name is Rachel and I work with women to attune to their feminine nervous systems.

Not hacking, or fixing.
But nurturing, softening and holding.

Our nervous system respond to this soft approach much better, especially if you’re looking at long term change and not just a quick fix ♥️

Maybe it’s just because I am a bit of an ambivert but I love the balance of the two.

Moments of utter stillness, peace, quiet, reflection.
Time to actually hear yourself think and feel.
Enough quiet to pause with the gentle breeze and birdsong.

And then there are moments of deep conversation, belly laughs, shared passion over food, relating, comforting, tears and yelling affirmations that feel real to your soul.

These little snippets show this perfectly.

But don’t just take my word for it….

“ I’m not sure where to begin... but the last 5 days in Italy has been transformational. I decided last minute that I really needed some time for myself after feeling burnt out all winter long. I was so fed up of pushing, doing, being pulled in so many directions.

I wasn’t really to sure what to expect as I’d never been on a retreat before but felt as though I was in great hands with Rachel.
From the moment we arrived I felt so cared for, from the beautiful little treats left on my bed, the incredible Italian cook who felt like my grandmother, to the incredible location.
The combination of deep nervous system work and laughter, joy and fun filled my cup to the brim.
I feel so lucky to have spent this time with a group of incredible women and to walk away with friendships I know will last a lifetime.

All because I had a vision of us feeling into freedom, pleasure, softness and joy - in the depths of winter this year following a terrible December.

I could have listened to the thoughts that said it was too short notice, too big of a dream, just ‘too much’,
But I didn’t. I went for it.

And so did the epic women that joined me.

It takes so much to say yes to yourself but once you do, you don’t look back.

My loves THANK YOU / DIOLCH / GRAZIE MILLE for your trust and your company.

It was the best week ever and I am just so grateful.

Deep nervous system work, undoing patterns, replenishing burnout, making changes,
paired beautifully with la dolce vita of the Tuscan hills.

We begin with our Beltane celebrations tomorrow.

6.30pm - 9pm at Ty Glyn cottage and the secret garden.
Beltane is a potent time of year for ritual magic, reflecting & reviewing and deciding where we send our energy over summer.
