On Thursday 8th May 2025 we will be celebrating the 80th Anniversary of VE Day 🇬🇧

Children are welcome to attend school in non uniform of red, white and blue 🇬🇧

Throughout the day children will take part in themed activities 🇬🇧

Party lunch on the playground 🥪🍌🧃
During lunchtime children who have school meals will be provided with a picnic lunch 🛍
Children who bring their own lunch to school are asked to bring it picnic style 🛍

It is forecast to be a sunny day please remember to bring a hat and water bottle. If you wish for your child to wear sun cream please can we ask that it is applied before school ☀️🧢🧴

On Thursday 11th July, we’re asking everyone in Wigan and Leigh to wear something purple and show their support for Wigan & Leigh Hospice. 💜

Last year, our community managed to raise a fantastic £4,962.84 through this event!

MAY PROCESSION AND CROWNING TOMORROW
Our May Procession and Crowning will be celebrated tomorrow, Friday 24th May. The events will begin at 1:45pm: where a Statue of Our Lady, children’s artwork and our Walking Day Banners will be carried in procession from School, to Church, for a 2pm Service. During the Service, Our Lady’s Statue will be Crowned and there will be Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, concluding with Benediction for children.

St Patrick’s Primary School will be attending and the Crowning Group will be formed from this year’s First Holy Communion Class.

If you are carrying, please be outside the presbytery for 1:15pm.
