We’ve had a great couple of weeks working with the team at Concept Wigan to deliver their First Aid at Work requalification!

We know it can be tough for businesses to release staff for training, so after a quick chat about how to keep their operations running smoothly, we decided to split the course over two consecutive Fridays. Problem solved! ✅

We had a brilliant time with the group getting stuck into the practicals. We covered a lot of ground, including:

• CPR and AED use
• Managing major bleeds
• Log-rolling a casualty with a suspected spinal injury
• Applying splints, and loads more!

Great effort from everyone involved!

Huge shoutout to some of the awesome PTs and team at elite_fitnessfactory for taking part in our latest Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course.

Safety in the fitness industry is absolutely paramount. It was brilliant to see such a dedicated group of fitness professionals taking the time to ensure their first aid skills are sharp, up-to-date, and ready for anything the gym environment might throw their way.

What a fantastic day on the mats! 🥋🩹

Huge shoutout to the amazing team at Rakukan Judo Club (Wigan) for hosting our latest Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course this weekend.

Safety in combat sports is absolutely paramount, and it was brilliant to work with one of the dedicated coaches Rob and members stepping up to make sure their first aid skills are sharp, up-to-date, and fully BJA compliant.

We’ve had a fantastic time this week delivering fire safety training for a local community and volunteer group!

We absolutely love sharing our knowledge, especially when we can get people hands-on with the actual equipment.

We always find that participants feel significantly more confident when we tailor the course directly to their own workplace. Whenever possible, we make sure they get to experience exactly what it’s like to set off a fire extinguisher while learning the best practices for using one safely.

"We need First Aid training, but we can't empty the building!" 🏢🛑

This is something we hear all the time! We recently had a client who really needed to get their staff First Aid certified, but dropping their operational numbers for a full training day was going to cause chaos.

We love a challenge, and we love supporting local businesses to keep those plates spinning! 🍽️

To solve the problem, we built a custom training package for them. We arranged to deliver the course in smaller, staggered group sessions. The client kept their floor fully staffed, and the whole team got the high-quality, hands-on training they needed. A total win-win!

Training with a view! 😍

We have to admit, we are terrible at remembering to take photos during our courses. We get so wrapped up in the practical work and supporting our learners that our phones stay firmly in our pockets!

But we couldn't let this week go by without shouting out the incredible team at St Thomas the Martyr Church (and joined sites) in Up Holland.

We had an absolute blast delivering their First Aid training. A brilliant, engaged group of candidates in a truly beautiful setting. Thank you for having us! 🩹👏
