Our first mental health session is tomorrow!!

It’s our opening one and they will be every Tuesday after this and we have a venue coming for Wigan central for the girls that are struggling to travel.

Something that isn’t talked about enough is the mental struggles that come with infertility & pregnancy loss. We have a specific mini community for this to help our girls feel comfortable sharing their experiences and meeting new girls with the same struggles. Whilst our girls club has this I want to share another local group that is made for exactly the same reason!

Hopeful hearts was created to help support women going through infertility, pregnancy loss and the mental struggles that come along with this. They are a peer support group that help eachother with their journey to becoming a mum one day. They have all sorts of women going through different journeys such as IVF and adoption. A big subject close to a lot of members hearts is to qualify for treatment on the NHS your BMI has to be below 30 which is something some members have struggled with so we also support with this. If anyone is interested in joining a support group they have a public page or a private support group . They hold regular teams call sessions and even organise coffee catch ups.

✨ Trigger ✨

I was so reluctant to post this but I thought if I can help anyone understand that it’s ok to feel sad then so be it!

This is me today I’ve had a lovely day at the girls club walks and had some exciting meetings and I’m feeling really good and happy 😊

The second picture is me Friday, I was so so down and cried all day I felt so depressed I didn’t even want to get out of bed properly but I still had those exciting meetings on Friday evening to attend so I had something to look forward to yet, I STILL felt extremely sad and down. 3 days difference? You wouldn’t have even recognised me.

Recently I’ve realised it’s actually ok to have your down days and it’s not a set back or something to be embarrassed about we all have them and it’s not talked about enough because we are so scared of living up to our own expectations.

be proud of yourself for getting through those sh*tty days because it’s so hard to push through and even if you have a bed rot day (we I do a lot) your still growing and healing 🫶
