You’ve been holding it together, thinking about everyone else, and by the end of the day there’s no space left for you.

This is something small that helps with that.

Creative Coping is a chance to come in, sit down, and do something simple with your hands - nothing complicated, nothing you need to be good at.

Just something you can focus on for a bit so your brain gets a break.

You can come and create.

And if you need more than that, there’s space for that too.

If you want support for yourself, or you’re trying to work out how to support your child, I’ll be there alongside Amy from All Ears.

You can ask questions, have a proper conversation, or take things to one side if you’d rather keep it private.

Or you might just sit, make something, and realise you’re not the only one feeling like this.

If you’re supporting your children in any way - the constant thinking, worrying, juggling - this space was built for you.

A couple of hours on a Monday to come and sit down, have a brew, do something creative and get out of your own head a bit.

It’s just a relaxed little group of women doing something for themselves for a change - while learning small things that actually help them feel better in day-to-day life too.

Honestly, half the battle for most people is just actually coming through the door for the first time… then they realise everyone else felt exactly the same.

If you fancy coming, message me ‘MONDAY’ and I’ll send the details over 🤍

Some evenings you think about going for a walk…
and then you don’t.

You’re tired, the day’s been full and it feels easier to stay in your head (or on the sofa).

This is just a reason to get out.

Just a short, simple walk with other women who probably nearly didn’t come too.

It’s not about steps or pace.

It’s about getting some air, moving your body a bit, and breaking that cycle of staying stuck in the same place all evening.

Sometimes that’s all you need.

🗓️Thursday 28th May

📍Hall Lane, Haigh, Wigan
🎟️FREE - just let us know you’re coming using link in bio
🅿️Parking is free on Hall Lane - drive as close as you can to the top and meet outside the house

🎨 Creative After-School Group – Ages 11+

We’re starting a new Creative After-School Group for young people aged 11+ at Wigan Workshop CIO.

🌟 This group is funded through the Short Breaks provision as a pilot of 10 sessions.

🧵 It is for older young people with SEND who enjoy being creative and would benefit from a calm, smaller social setting.

💬 The sessions will provide a space to create, spend time with others, try different materials and build confidence without pressure to produce perfect finished work.

🖌️ Activities may include clay, ceramics, printing, texture exploration, mixed media, colour work and simple textile projects.

📍 Venue: Wigan Workshop CIO

👥 Suitable for: Young people aged 11+ with SEND who can access a small-group creative session with light support.

☕ Parents/carers are welcome to drop off and collect, or stay on site in our kitchen/waiting area during the session.

⚠️ Please note: we cannot offer 1:1 support during the sessions, and we are unable to provide personal care, including toileting support.

🍽️ Food will not be provided during the one-hour session. Please let us know about any allergies when booking.

📸 Please let us know on the day whether you are happy for photos to be taken.

Menopause isn’t something that just “happens later”.
It starts earlier than most women realise.

And for a lot of women, the hardest part isn’t just the symptoms - it’s not fully understanding what’s happening, second-guessing yourself, and not feeling heard when you ask for help.

This session is about changing that.

It’s for you if you’re:
– starting to notice changes
– already in it and want to feel less alone
– or you just want to understand your body better now, so you’re not left guessing later

Beth - Nurse Specialist in sexual, reproductive and women’s health - will walk you through what perimenopause and menopause actually are, when changes can start (this one catches a lot of women out), what symptoms to look for, and how to feel more confident advocating for yourself when you seek support.

And then we’re doing something a bit different.
Because this isn’t just about information - it’s about how you feel in yourself too.

We’ll be using the paint throwing room to let go of some of the frustration, pressure, and build a bit of confidence back into your body.

It’s a space to move, release, and have a bit of fun with it.
This is a fundraiser to help us keep BBB sessions accessible for women who need them.

🗓️ Saturday 23rd May
🕖 10am–12pm
📍 All Ears Hub, Pemberton
🎟️ £15
🅿️ Parking outside or the street just past the hub

If you’ve been meaning to understand your body a bit more - this is a good place to start.

If your brain feels full by the end of the day, this is the kind of thing that helps.

Not because it’s deep or life-changing.

Because it’s simple enough that you don’t have to think too much.

You’ll sit down, pick your colours, and stitch your name (or someone else’s) onto a tote bag - step by step, nothing complicated, nothing overwhelming.

It gives your mind something to focus on that isn’t your to-do list.

It’s that feeling of switching on to one small thing, instead of being pulled in ten directions.

No experience needed & all materials provided.

🗓️Tuesday 12th May
🕖6:30-8pm
📍Upstairs at Sherrington’s Bar (private room, soft lighting)
🎟️£3
🅿️Parking on the surrounding street is free after 5pm

An easy plan for a Sunday morning with the kids
We’re bringing Peter Rabbit to life with a simple, playful morning out.

As we walk, we’ll find Peter Rabbit and with friends hidden in the woods.

No pressure to keep up, no expectations – just fresh air, a bit of fun, and an easy way to get out of the house.

We’ll finish with a short story.

This is designed to feel doable.

Come on your own with your child, or meet others there.

What to expect:
Short, gentle walk (buggy-friendly)
Peter Rabbit hunt along the way
Time to chat… or just walk quietly
Story time at the end
Hot drinks for adults

🗓️ Sunday 10th May
📍Meet outside The Hamlet, Three Sisters
🕓10am
🎟️Free - just let us know you’re coming using the link in our bio

We’ll go ahead in most weather – check our stories in the morning if unsure.

A simple way to get out, do something a bit different, and enjoy a morning that feels easy.
