I made a thing…

I made a thing…

Your brain does a lot.

Work.
Family.
Messages.
Decisions.
Remembering everything.

And most days you move straight onto the next thing without ever pausing to acknowledge what you’ve already done.

This wellbeing stickerbook creates a small moment of pause.

Tiny actions.
Tiny reflections.
Tiny wins.

And yes… a sticker.

Because sometimes a sticker is the motivation your brain needs.

There are only a limited number available in this first launch.

If you’d like one, comment STICKER and I’ll send you the link.

Emma from Let’s Shape Our Creativity is hosting a session for the voluntary sector as part of our Stickerbook project.

You’ll come along, earn yourself a big sticker, and try needle felting – which, if you’ve never done it before, basically involves repeatedly stabbing wool in a very satisfying way until it turns into something lovely.

It’s creative, low pressure and a brilliant way to get the stress of the day out of your system without having to talk about it.

The best part, you don’t need to be artistic or creative!

You’ll leave with something you’ve made and feel calmer than when you arrived.

This is a book club for people who love chatting about books, but don’t want the pressure of a set book.

The evening is a relaxed space to chat about books you’ve enjoyed, share recommendations, and pick up realistic ways to fit reading back into a busy life.

We’ll also be painting a tote bag (we’ll have templates, so don’t worry about being ‘creative’).

Whether you read all the time or haven’t finished a book in years, come join us!

(And yes — I read 57 books last year, so I’ve got a few practical tips up my sleeve for reading more if you want them.)

Today I spent time with a brilliant young person talking about food, dopamine and neurodiversity.

One thing we explored was this idea of balance.

Because yes – balanced meals can help with things like focus, energy and emotional regulation.

But balance isn’t always simple when food comes with sensory challenges.

Certain textures feel wrong.

Certain smells are overwhelming.

Some foods feel safe – and others just don’t.

So instead of starting with
“You should eat this.”

We start with a different question.

What can we add?

Not a complete diet overhaul.

Not pressure to eat things that feel uncomfortable.

Just small additions that work with the foods someone already feels safe eating.

A bit of protein.

Something for energy.

Maybe a fat that helps you stay fuller for longer.

Little adjustments that help your brain and body get more from the food you already eat.

Because when food supports your brain, everything else becomes easier too.

That’s the approach we use at BBB – curiosity over criticism, and progress over perfection.

“No one listens.”
Opinion Club is where we start listening.

Opinion Club is a relaxed online space for women in Wigan to slow down and talk honestly about real life, health and wellbeing.

We always begin with a few quiet minutes to settle in before we chat. There’s no pressure to speak and cameras are optional.

This isn’t a workshop or a course. It’s simply a calm space for real conversation.

Recently we asked women in Wigan what makes it hardest to look after their health. In this first session we’ll share what we’ve heard so far and explore together what needs to happen next.

Opinion Club is part of an ongoing project to understand what women really need – and to make sure those experiences shape future support locally.

Each session builds on the last. We’ll come back and share:
• What women told us
• What we’re learning
• What we’re doing with it

Because listening shouldn’t happen once – it should keep happening.

You’re welcome to join once or come regularly.
