Richmond Court Care Home Richmond Court is a purpose-built 48-bed residential care home offering Residential, Nursing, Dementia and LD Care.

All of the rooms have en-suite facilities to help residents live as independently as possible.

Today we had visit off friends the grinches of lumley and brancepeth. These are friendly kind grinches handing out gifts and chocolates spending time having fun with our wonderful residents. There was lots of smiles fun and laughter. This is what Xmas is all about. X

The flu season has started early this year causing lots of pressure on services.
We love to see visitors but please, if you have flu or cold systems Do Not Visit us.
We are working very hard to keep our residents and staff staff.
We can offer telephone calls, video calls to help you keep in touch with your loved one.
We have hand sanitiser in main entrance that all visitors and professional can use as well as face masks if needed.

We have had a busy couple of days starting our Christmas celebrations. We've had the local school choir in to sing Christmas carols, hot chocolate and mince pies with family, visits to Santa's grotto🎅, 1 to 1 chats about favourite memories of Christmas and making cakes🧁(which we cant wait to try tomorrow)🙂.
Tomorrow is Christmas jumper day and Elf day so watch out for more festive fun 🎄🎅
