Only a small percentage of this energy effectively immobilises the hair follicle, making it less efficient than laser hair removal. Wondering whether hair removal is permanent? 🤔 Laser hair removal does permanently treat your existing hair follicles, so in that sense, yes, it's a permanent treatment. However, over time, you may notice new hair follicles appearing.

During the process, laser energy is absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicles, heating and damaging them to inhibit future hair growth. While this reduces hair growth effectively, it doesn't stop new follicles from forming.

The extent of new follicles appearing depends on your ethnic background and hormonal balance, which we'll discuss during your Consultation. So, while laser hair removal offers long-lasting results, occasional top-up treatments may be needed to manage any new hair growth.
