I almost missed seeing the delightful enigmatic Rupert Everett last night. With 90 mins between the talks I had booked for, dark,cold and hungry, I was about to leave but instead decided to grab something form the little curry stall and a glass of red wine and was allowed to perch inside one of the foyers and I am happy I did! Rupert was charmingly funny, irreverent and oddly honest about his past, he spoke about being an actor and an author, and his “relationship” with Oscar Wilde (I can’t wait to read this memoir) . He says there is a sequel@to my best friends wedding and he hopes he will be in it. So do I people. So do I!

What an extraordinary woman and author is. Her pose, her ability to communicate so many authentic messages with such grace and empathy was just heart opening and deeply appreciated. Turns out it is also her birthday today, yet she was happy to sign an endless line of books. And Chris Power interviews her so well! I was captivated by her book The Island of Mossing Trees which I read recently and so was drawn to come hear Elif speak today! The interview was mainly centred around her book which is 15 years old The Forty Rules of Love which I cannot wait to read!

A few months ago I booked to see the unique live in London. And finally the night arrived. Perfectly timed. I needed to hear every word. Such a warm human, authentic, real. Am so grateful that for his wisdom , having followed so many of his teachings from when I first read The seat of the soul in the 1990s. Thank you for bringing Gary to London. And I met a fabulous woman who sat next to me! We connected in a heartbeat!

As one just must. Le Must. De Cartier. Phenomenally exquisite collection accompanied by the equally lovely . A tiara or two would not go amiss in my personal collection! I’ve had my very own Cartier watch since 2002, a gift from me to me with the first profits I made with my own consultancy, worn on my right wrist despite being right handed - reminding me daily that I always have choices. As one Must.

I love all of these quotes . Diane Keaton was epic, legendary and very very funny. Her early death reminds us to love our days with love and laughter, kindness and joy.

I learned to journal when I was a teen and 25 odd years ago taught me all about morning pages. Over the past couple of years it’s sporadic but seemingly constant and I love the notebook I keep buying, the reminder of green lights and long roads and that life is a journey, to be filled with incense to clear the air and candles to light the room. it’s October, full moon upon us and let us spread and joy and kindness to all!

I’m back teaching my online yoga class uniquely paired with crystals after a short sojourn for personal reasons.
I was honoured to teach my teacher teacher trainees on Saturday and what a joy to see them leaning into my crystal wisdom and practicing the postures!
