Red Clover (Trufolium pratense)

Red Clover has been used for centuries for various health conditions.
Today, it is often used to help relieve menopausal symptoms particular hot flushes and night sweats, often combined with other vitamins and minerals supplements in menopause as they can enhance each other,especially vitamin B6 and magnesium.
Red Clover is also beneficial for promoting hair and skin health.

*Red Clover contains isoflavones, which is a type of phytoestogen (a naturally occurring plant oestrogen)
*for those who have breast cancer,ovarian cancer or other hormone-sensitve cancer should avoid taking red clover)
*Those with endometriosis should always ask thier GP before taking red Clover, as it could cause adverse side effects.
*People with any form of bleeding disorders or those on any form of blood thinning medication should avoid taking red clover as it can slow down the body’s natural blood-clotting process.
*Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also avoid taking it.
