Fun day at Hollywood Bowl with Larbi, Barnaby, and Leon! Barnaby and Leon crushed it on the bowling lanes, while Larbi rocked the arcade games and even rode the motorbike game 🕹️🍬. Larbi ended the day happily trading tickets for sweets. A perfect mix of strikes, games, and smiles! 😄✨

Ina went cycling at Eastbourne on a bright and calm day. the fresh air and open surroundings created a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere. With gentle support from staff, Ina got on the bike and began making happy vocal sounds, showing excitement and curiosity. she started to ride the bike, carefully pedaling and moving forward along the track. Although she didn't go far, every movement showed confidence and determination.

This was a significant achievement for the staff, as Ina had previously declined to get on the bike whenever cycling was offered. Today felt different. Ina appeared more comfortable, engaged, and willing to try. Her mood was positive and focused, and the experience felt rewarding for everyone involved. It was a proud and encouraging moment that showed progress and growing confidence. 😄🚴

This week Ben has moved into his new flat at Holdingham House in Sleaford. Ben has been super curious, exploring everywhere and loving the outdoors, playing football and basketball with staff and his family. He attended Playzone yesterday and had an absolute blast. Well done Ben, we're so happy to have you with us 😊💚

We are incredibly proud to recognise the fantastic achievement of our team members Jared and Eula from Holdingham Lodge, who have successfully completed their Care Certificate.

Jamie from Meadowbeck recently enjoyed a fantastic trip to the Magna Science Adventure Centre alongside staff. 🌟

The visit was thoroughly enjoyed by all, with Jamie especially loving the interactive games and the opportunity to explore the diggers. It was a fun and engaging day out, creating great memories for both Jamie and the team. 😊

About Us

Glenholme is a specialist care provider providing genuinely personalised support for adults with severe learning disabilities and a variety of mental health conditions. Our focus is on promoting independence through outstanding support. We operate residential homes, supported living schemes and outreach services, which means we have the range of support options to fulfil most needs and to respond to those needs as they change.

Glenholme began as a provider of residential support to adults with mental health conditions. Over time Glenholme’s positive outcomes meant we were asked to expand into providing support for adults with learning disabilities, including those with autism, physical disabilities and those with severe challenging behaviour. Responding to the needs of our clients, we have also extended from residential based services to also provide supported living and outreach services. In this way, we are able to provide support along the complete care pathway.

Today, Glenholme has services across the South East. We still have the same focus on the care we provide as we did when Glenholme was set up 25 years ago. Our team of dedicated and well-trained carers work closely with those they are supporting, their families, friends and advocates to provide excellent support in even the most challenging of situations. We recognise that many diagnoses bridge traditional medical divides and so, in addition to our core team, we have a group of professionals providing a range of other services including psychiatric input, occupational therapies and addiction counselling. We know how important surroundings are to mental health and we pride ourselves on the quality of our homes and our supported living schemes. All our accommodation is modern and well maintained and is situated in attractive neighbourhoods so that those we support can benefit as fully as possible from community life. For those in our outreach services, we are able to provide help with finding accommodation and securing a tenancy.
