It has been 10 years(and a bit) since ThaiNamoon open it door for the very first time but we are still going and carry on doing what we do best But I have got to say that it hasn’t been easy 😅
I remembered trying to calculate my staffs wages on the hospital bed right before going to the delivery suits because my water was broke two weeks before it due!
Working on the plan to renovate to expand the salon from the start to the finished.
I remembered how stressful it was trying to push the builder to finish the job on the date we agreed
and how tried my whole body was feeling but I still having to kept going and finished off settings up the salon so it will be ready for clients the next day as planned.
The pressure of already over spent on the renovation and having no income from the salon as it need to be closed for two weeks just before the renovation completed. I did everything in my power to make sure the relaunching date that was fully booked wasn’t going to get push back even for one day. 😅😅
Alongside the planning renovation projects, I was (and still am) also a hand on massage/beauty therapist with a busy schedule accommodating clients during the salon opening hours (10.30am-8pm) 5 days a week.
Then when that over, I also have to complete a tasks such as run an advertising campaign on social media or local guide books, working out staff rotas, ordered salon supplies, uniform, recruiting and in house training new member of staffs, keeping sale report up to date, dealt with complaints, looking for way to improve our online booking, fixing the light, unblocked the toilet, on my knees and hands cleaning the floors, designed gift voucher, business card, responded to customer over email, FB message, update our website, instagram, google so that our information is correctly updated for clients to get in touch so that the salon calendar won’t be empty.
On top of that I also have a new born baby to look after, a whole family back in Thailand to support, an immigration tribunal appeal court case to prepare and fight for my oldest daughter to be able to come and live with us in the UK (and yes I won btw😊)
And All of that happened before the Covid crisis started!!!
Despite how difficult it has been for me physically, mentally and financially………….,,
I still do love my job and still work with passionate and I am proud to be a (Thai) massage/beauty therapist.
I feel very blessed everyday to be going to work and do what I love to do and never thinking it as a job.
It’s always priceless for me to see clients faces at ease and relaxing when they came out from the treatment room after the session.
To know what I do would temporary but almost instantly helps to relief muscle tension that they be struggling for a long time and to acknowledge by the comment made from many of my clients that what I do make different for them is the best rewarded that I could wish for as a massage/beauty therapist
(I still obviously need to earn money to lives too🙏)
In the photo below is Ian and Janine, our very first client that came to have a massage in our couple room on the very first day we open our door back in 2013 and continuing their visit regularly along with their 2 sons for at least once a month in the last 10 years….🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
(we must have done something right!, Right?😊)
Lastly, I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to all my clients for all your supports, your courages, your loyalty and your patience.
I will continuing to committed delivery a high standard services to meet your needs and expectations.
I also like to thank you to my very kind, generous and patience landlord that never push unnecessary pressure on the business when time is hard during the pandemic.
