Such a pleasure to be a part of such a fantastic team!! What an Incredible result for this fabulous pair! Baylis Dressage Endeavours ✨✨
My face says it all 🤦🏼♀️😂 hate myself in this photo but luckily Pants looks like he’s having a ball and I love how happy he looks ☺️ What a way to kick start the new competition season with another PB and an overall class win on over 70% 🏆
An absolutely amazing day at Wellington today despite the horrendous weather. Incidentally the 70% would have been 73% had we not jogged in the free walk earning us a costly 4. But I can’t blame him, the weather really was awful! Other than that the first test was pretty much spot on and has given us a massive confidence boost for Regionals next month ☺️
I managed to totally c**k up the second test, the weather got significantly worse as we went down the centre line and despite Pants handling it like a pro, I had a total memory blank half way through and trotted early after the medium canter then decided to add in an extra circle for no reason at all 🤦🏼♀️ still a very respectable 65% with lots of idiot rider errors. This was a real test for Smartie, he really does hate wind and rain and I thought he would plant and refuse to move but he went through both tests like he really didn’t care and he tried his heart out for me.
Out every weekend now until Petplans at the end of this month and then Regionals at the end of Feb. Very excited for this year, he’s feeling absolutely amazing and I can’t wait to see what the next 12 months bring.
It takes a whole team to keep just one horse in the best shape and I’m forever grateful to everyone that’s part of our journey 🌟

Not forgetting my amazing husband and mum Lynne Curran, both of who are always my biggest support, standing out in the rain, wind and freezing cold with me, be it at home training or out competing. I couldn’t do it without you both ❤️
