Last year’s generous contributions have helped towards what will be an even bigger, brighter show this year – so thank you to everyone who joined us, we hope to see you again very soon! Here is a roundup of what you can expect this year:
Club House & Patio
• Club House and bar will be open all afternoon and evening up until 23:00, serving food and hot drinks
• BBQ tent
Main Field
• Beer & BBQ tent
• Hog Roast
• Hot drinks stations
• Children’s fairground rides and stalls
………… and more! BEST DRESSED GUY COMPETITION
Bring your guys to the clubhouse patio before 17:45 to be entered in the competition – a prize will be given to all participating children. The winner will see their very own ‘best dressed guy’ displayed in pride of place on top of the bonfire for all to see. HOW TO GET HERE
As the event gets bigger, naturally the parking gets slightly more limited… so please think carefully about your travels to the display. PARKING
• This year we have introduced a large, safe drop off and pick up area inside the club car park. Whilst we will continue to park cars on the top fields, it does take a long time to egress 500 vehicles, so we recommend catching a lift or taxi and safely using the drop off and pick up area
• Please do not park on the main roads outside of the clubhouse
• Disabled parking available – please see parking attendants
Further information & Health and Safety
• DISABLED FACILITIES - We have full disabled toilet facilities and parking at the club house
• TODDLER AND BABY CHANGING FACILITIES - available in the clubhouse
• TOILETS - available in the clubhouse and changing room corridors
• FIRST AID - available at the clubhouse physio room. Look for the stewards in the high viz vests and they will direct you to the qualified First Aiders
• LOST CHILDREN - any lost children should be taken to the first aid/physio room
As always, our display is free of charge to enter, but please remember to give generously to the collection buckets as all gratefully received donations go towards ensuring next year’s display!
