I haven’t lost the plot, levels of vitamin D can increase ten-fold by absorbing sunny goodness. β˜€οΈ

Vitamin D, often called the "sunshine vitamin," is essential for our health in several ways.
It helps our bodies:
🦴 Build strong bones and teeth
πŸš€ Boost the immune system
😊 Improve mood and reduce depression
πŸ’ͺ🏻Promote muscle function and strength
🌟May lower risk of chronic diseases

How to get enough vitamin D:
🌞 Sunlight exposure: Moderate sun exposure on bare skin is the primary source of vitamin D.
🐟 Dietary sources: Fatty fish, egg yolks, and fortified foods like milk and cereals contain vitamin D.
πŸ’Š Supplements: Consider supplements if you have limited sun exposure (almost certainly if you live in the UK!) or dietary intake.

Remember: Talk to your doctor before taking supplements, especially if you have any health concerns.
