A one day Workshop covering the Islamic rules and rites of washing and shrouding the deceased, with a practical tutorial.

We will be working through the text 'Transitions' authored by the teacher himself, Shaykh Faiz Amir.

Shaykh Faiz has studied and practiced the method of washing and shrouding of the deceased with his teachers in Tarim, a method that has remained unchanged for centuries with chains of transmission. He has been actively involved in washing and teaching this method for nearly 20 years.
