A full circle moment when I got to share my love for hogwarts with my biggest boy this week. πŸ₯°

Though I forgot that when I last visited (when he was 6 months old) 9 years ago I hated butter beer, and after spending Β£7.95 on one again, I remembered just how much so 🀣🀣🀣 πŸ™ˆπŸ™ˆso he drank it, I kept the commemorative cup πŸ˜‰

A little field trip on our Home ed /flexi schooling day , learning about film sets , costumes and props , discovering that a goblin's eyebrows alone take a WHOLE DAY to make 😱, and practicing our theatre studies/drama skills when dementors flew past us on the train simulator. To then writing about our findings afterwards...

I thank my lucky stars every day that this has become our reality. (Though most weeks are not as glamorous πŸ˜‰ with a bit of outdoor learning and interest based projects between worksheets and games)
And I realise how hard I've had to work to make it happen. After years of forms , assessments, advocating, tests, meetings, refusals, rejections, challenges , and also having to work damn hard to grow my business enough to work around this new schedule - it's actually become our reality.

So it made me think of my post about vision boards yesterday , and how when I first thought about changing our education provision - it felt impossible. I felt scared, judged and out of my depth. But after extensive research, and daily visualisation, I placed it on my vision board. Striving towards making the shift as a family , without knowing how, but clearly seeing, feeling and imagining how it would be for us once we got there. Low and behold , we did it. It certainly won't be everyone's cup of tea, or measure of success , but for me I think it's my proudest achievement of 2025.

Sometimes when the odds are stacked up against is, we doubt our worth, we question our judgement and we fill ourselves with fear. But when we make that mindset shift, and get clear on our goals - we can make it happen 😊

Something I love about coaching is seeing these moments unfold with my clients too, whether it's better worklife balance, reducing stress, taming anxiety, boosting self esteem or feeling calmer , it's a joy to see πŸ₯°

My first couple of vision boards were rubbish πŸ’©πŸ˜…πŸ™ˆ

I stuck a mansion in the middle and cut out pretty pictures of aesthetically pleasing food, and some Jimmy choo's because that's what I *thought I should* have / do to be "successful."😳
(The advertising industry got me good πŸ€ͺ)

When I saw *real* success was when the vision board itself was a true reflection of the mindset work I'd been doing behind the scenes.

The things, people and places that I truly desired and despite not knowing how they would manifest - believing that I was deserving and motivated enough to recieve them was where the change happened.

And so every time I run a vision boarding workshop (this will be my fourth year of teaching them) I always include mindset work and regulation tools, because in simple terms, if we dont believe it... we won't recieve it.

And I know that every client who comes to these sessions truly DESERVES happiness, health, wealth or whatever it is that they stick on their board. So together, we work with our subconscious mind to visualise , embody, sense and fire off those neurons in the brain that help it feel like reality.

The last few years to say I've been BLOWN AWAY by what's come true from my vision boards is an understatement. But it wasnt just because of the board alone , it was the catalyst, the starting point, the visual reminder and the consistent hard work, visualisation and motivation that ran alongside it each year.

Last year alone I achieved from my board :
- More family time πŸ₯Ή
- Approval for part time home ed /flexischooling
- Sold out retreats
- Launched a podcast
- Self published a second journal
- Got consistent with my wellness routine
- Had more time outdoors and digital detoxes
- New coaching clients (consistently every quarterπŸ™)

And the things I didnt get to achieve ,like a book deal , a new home or invisalign braces πŸ˜† , I'm confident will happen when the timing is right - and when I'm truly ready to invest and put in the effort required.

4 hours in the woodland today and thankfully no frostbite on my toes πŸ₯ΆπŸ€ͺ

One of those impromptu playdates with likeminded souls for a perfect mindful meander in nature πŸ‘Œ

Newlands corner was looking beautiful in the dusting of snow , and I managed to find the patch of woods we did our Forest bathing sessions in , and the ancient yew trees that my friend introduced me to πŸ™

You don't need to become a 'New' version of you (Just because targeted advertising says so every JanuaryπŸ˜‰πŸ« )

Discover why most people give up their resolutions within the first few weeks, and how to embrace the gentleness of the Winter season with meaningful and aligned intentions instead.

The Lunar new year doesn't happen until 7th Feb, and Spring Equinox comes around on 20th March - so theres plenty of time to honour winter's rest and hibernation whilst slowly planting seeds of intention. πŸ’–

After 4 years of personally practing EFT for a variety of reasons, I trained a year ago as a Practioner to share it's magic with my clients.

Over the last 12 months I've been astounded by how it's helped and supported them , in a variety of situations such as ;

- Managing uncomfortable emotions relating to family fueds /friendship breakdowns

- Parenting, particularly those in neurodivergent households

- Travel anxiety (An amazing client even text me on the plane to say how well it had worked πŸ˜†)

- Navigating work related stress alongside health issues and trying to find more balance

- Managing the rollercoaster of divorce and separation, and releasing feelings of resentment,guilt and frustration

- Easing sleep issues (I use it with my son for nightmares and easing an overactive brain)

- Supporting self esteem and reducing self doubt

- Phobias

- Manifesting their goals , releasing limiting beliefs

- Teaching ,I'll often run a class EFT session for co regulation after a fizzy lunch break or at the end of the day to create calm and positive self talk

The wonderful thing about EFT is that you can experience it's benefits both in a group and 121 settings , and there are so many ways to adapt the practice for it to be as thorough or discreet as you'd like to suit your situation.

If sitting still in meditation is a challenge for you, or other modalities haven't helped in the way you'd hoped - EFT could be worth a try. Do look at website for evidence based information and clinical trial results. And thankyou to for training me so well 😊

Disappeared for a few days πŸ₯°
Disconnected to the world,
Reconnected with my little family.
Presence and Presents.
Explored , Rested , Laughed (and bickered πŸ˜‰)
Danced, Ran through muddy fields , Discovered a castle.
Ate lots, Played more and counted my lucky stars for every single minute of it.


With everything happening in the world right now, it is not lost on me how grateful and privileged we are to have had this experience πŸ™ My Christmas day began with sending a prayer and love to all whom we've lost and couldn't celebrate with, to all of those in the world who deserve safety , peace and comfort, and to everyone navigating a tough time , that they make it through πŸ’–

Here's to continuing to honour the slower season of winter, to aligning with our values and making magic happen for 2026 πŸ’«πŸ’«πŸ’«

Also manifesting my very own cabin and land - because this truly was a dream come true 🩷🩷🩷🩷Surely someone must have a spare acre they'd like to sell us πŸ˜‰πŸ˜† (And yes , having researched for almost a year, I'm aware of the exceptionally complicated planning permissions etc that don't make this straight forward or affordable for most - especially in Surrey πŸ˜† which is why it hasn't happened... yet πŸ˜‰)
