Impaction colic can be a worry for horse owners especially when the temperatures drop and horses tend to drink less, this on top of an increased amount of dry forage (hay/haylage) being offered due to the snow and or turnout being restricted can lead to the impaction of ingested material in the intestinal tract.

A TheraPlate session this winter can help to ease worrying health concerns, look for a registered and fully accredited IATS specialist who is fully insured to treat and consult alongside your vet to help build bespoke winter therapy plans.
