10 days out from my fight, I was contemplating pulling out. I was struggling to breathe just walking up the stairs as my asthma unexpectedly came back, my shoulder was compromised, and my knee was hurting.

My mom, who was in pain at the time, was waiting for test results about surgery.

What made me contemplate pulling out wasn't my pain, it was the thought of putting her through more stress seeing/hear about me in pain if I was to go out and fight and get wooped due to my injuries/asthma.

I had two choices, train for a fight under circumstances x10 harder than normal and still go in compromised or call it a day and rest.

The training was so mentally challenging, using inhalers after every interval at the top of my breath. By the time I got to the fight, I'd already been through hell ... it was probably the reason why I approached the fight with so much intensity. I had already felt mental pain at such an altitude that the fight had very little pressure behind it.

It was kill or be killed.

It was a great ending to an intense year! Feels great to rest and recoup!

2024 awaits!

With Ethan joining the JD team, that means that 50% of the staff from JD are Fit Fast Academy graduates! Aswell as that we have graduates darted all around the city making a career or second hustle from Gyms to local parks.

I started the academy with the main aim to educate myself by putting myself in a position where it was my job to do so, and then allowing my future kids to naturally be part of it because I am.

Since then we have graduates and students in nearly all major uk cities and across 6 different countries.

I enjoy all aspects of this 'job' and I have great staff that do a fanstatic job. Fitness and strength is in my blood but education has never been a strength of mine ... that's why I'm here!

Thank you to everyone that has supported me by enrolling, enquiring, or referring others to a course. It will not go unnoticed ⏳️
