Lord Bilston Big Challenge – Day 2 ✅
Yesterday we took on a very wet and hilly 144-mile cycle to Scafell Pike, finally arriving at the youth hostel at 10:45pm! 🚴♀️🌧️
Riding in the dark on unlit roads was both scary and challenging, but thanks to brilliant teamwork and our incredible support crew, we made it through safely.
Unfortunately, the Ben Nevis climb has caused a flare-up of my long-term Achilles injury, so I’ve had to sit out the Scafell Pike climb today. I’m absolutely gutted not to be joining the team on the mountain, but I’m cheering them on every step of the way. 🥰
With some rest and recovery, I’m hopeful I’ll be back in the saddle for today’s 104-mile ride to Snowdon! 🤞
