My name is Nadia, and I am a Counsellor Using the Arts and a Therapeutic Arts facilitator. I provide online and in-person 'verbal' therapy and work in a person-centred way, where YOU are at the heart of it all. I work integratively, meaning that I am trained in various modalities and skilful at tailoring an approach that suits your unique needs. We will discuss and together figure out how I can support you on your healing journey. Or your journey is something else, not necessarily healing.
I am welcoming you EXACTLY as you are. I have a warm and empathetic approach, and I aim to create a confidential container for you in which you can be as you are without needing to put on a mask or hide your feelings so you can bring safely in what is on your heart and your mind.
I am here for your unique experiences to be heard, validated and explored at the right pace. Together, we can figure out ways in which you can live a better life.
I am passionate about the therapeutic and creative potentials of the arts. I am trained in various artistic modalities, including visual art, body movement and drama, clay and sand therapy, poetry and music. It is important to highlight that there is no obligation or pressure to use the art in the sessions, and I will support you in the way that works for you. However, the arts bring many more ways and opportunities to explore, communicate and guide us towards healing and thriving in the most magical ways. There are absolutely no artistic/ creative skills required for art therapy.
In my personal as well as professional experience, using the arts therapeutically has proven to be effective in healing, self-awareness and overall improvement in individuals and their lives.
