“If I am not for me, who will be for me? And when I am for myself alone, what am I? And if not now, then when?”
This is the perfect quote to start the New Year -From ethics of the fathers, Rabbi Hillel

I’ve been busy behind the scenes and was invited to collaborate with some fabulous people for a newspaper article in the JC.
Link in my bio.
❤️I have decided to take my own advice ,that I liberally sprinkle on my lovely patients ,and have not been posting so much on IG as it’s not my most relaxing of pastimes !!
❤️It’s important to prioritise self care at this time of life, put ourselves first ( I know right !!).
❤️So if I’m a little quiet on here , it’s not because I don’t care about sharing my knowledge with you, it’s because I am also trying to care about myself 😳👏👏👏🥰❤️

🧐So what on earth is it ?
Bio resonance is a non-invasive therapy that uses electromagnetic waves to detect and treat imbalances in the body. By analyzing the body’s frequencies, it aims to identify underlying issues and restore harmony, potentially improving overall wellness. It’s popular in holistic health circles for addressing various conditions without the use of drugs or invasive procedures.
🧐I met the very lovely Stefanie at her practice in Bushey, Herts.
She is a highly qualified nutritional therapist ,coach and founder of who asked me lots of questions and then got me to hold her machine which then read my energy.
🧐Stef told me that often people become emotional . I thought to myself ‘oh dear, she’s going to be disappointed with me’ and then what happened??!! I of course became a bit emotional but had no idea why.
🧐When I thought about why , my stomach rumbled - Stef said that was it , it was a change in energy and whatever I was thinking was the answer. She was right 🤷‍♀️.
🧐The machine gave me some key words , one was ‘insulin’. Now I happen to know that this is a problem area for me and especially being a menopausal woman ,
I need to work really hard to avoid insulin resistance ( pre diabetes).
🧐I was then told to place my hand on the machine for some energy rebalancing .
🧐I went away with some recommendations , including homework , to read The Glucose Goddess and to do another round of a continuous glucose monitor.
🧐I left , feeling quite calm and positive .
🧐Is there scientific evidence for this ?
Not much at all. But it WAS able to identify things that I know about the way my body works .
🧐I felt I was in excellent hands and Stef was absolutely lovely.
🧐If this is something that interests you , check out Life Begins at Menopause , you’ll be in great hands .

We are all individuals and experience the loss of hormones very differently . Not everyone gets hot flushes or night sweats .
Our hormones start to decline on average from age 35, so if you start to notice anything changing / not normal for you, it could be the start of perimenopause .
There are many symptoms of perimenopause/ menopause ,potentially around 50 different signs.
Here are some of the more common ones :
* Changes in periods- getting heavier, lighter,closer together, further apart.
* Headaches /migraine
* Brain fog
* Fatigue
* Irritability
* Anxiety
* Low mood/depression
* Hot flushes / sweats
* Vaginal dryness/painful s*x
* Urinary urgency /frequency
* Low libido
* Heart palpitations
* Weight gain
* Exhaustion
* Memory loss /forgetfulness
And the answer to the question is :
f)They are all potential symptoms.
