A few takeaways 👇

I'm 32 now, so obviously I run.

I've actually been very consistent with my running this year, and along my merry journey, I've noticed a few things.

1️⃣ My drive to eat has gone up massively, so despite regular 25+ km weeks, my weight hasn't changed.

2️⃣ Digging deep is a skill that needs to be practised.

3️⃣ Drop any expectations of what you should be doing or used to do.

4️⃣ Signing up for an event or going public with your goal works wonders for motivation.

Overall, it’s been humbling, sweaty, and oddly addictive.

If you can't stay consistent with your training...

It might be cos you're trying to force yourself into activities you just don't enjoy.

No matter what beenfits you read about the gym, running or anything else...

If you don't actually do it, you won't get the benefits.

I'd recommend finding something you do enjoy.

Even if it's not 'optimal' training.

Turns out I am becoming a PT!

Not because I want to walk around counting reps and giving motivational quotes about discipline!

Conleth’s journey 👀⬇️

Between a hectic teaching job and playing every sport in the Southern Hemisphere, it’s safe to say had a lot on.

This often left food as an afterthought.

With his heavy training load in the gym and on the field, he was chronically underfuelled!

Sometimes his first meal wasn’t until mid-afternoon, so he’d come home wrecked and just grab whatever was convenient.

Leaving him feeling drained and hangry.

And some nights, the evening snacking floodgates would open.

In the past, things like MyFoodBag would plug the gap - but that’s an expensive plug!

Or he’d go “all in” and smash his diet for a few weeks…

Before giving up.

He didn’t need more motivation or discipline.

He needed a calm, simple, and manageable system that fit around his life.

✅ One weekly food shop
✅ Simple, high-protein meals
✅ Snacks ready for long days
✅ A planner that took the decision fatigue away

Now, he gets home energised with a clear plan.

Recovery is better.

Training performance has gone through the roof!
