Our A.V. Band branch in Droitwich is hosting a charity tombola, helping to raise money for the Acorns Children's Hospice this Friday - 29th, between 11AM to 3PM!✨
We'll have a stand setup with some tasty snacks and treats all £1 each, tickets for the tombola are also £1 each with over 30 prizes to be won!✨

I have only been working at A V Band Worcester since June, and it has to be the best decision I've ever made. To serve families during their toughest time isn't just a privilege, it's an honour. Before becoming a funeral arranger, I worked in community care. Even though I loved the Job, I knew it wasn't where I was really meant to be. So when a job became available at A V Band, i didn't hesitate in applying.
The connection you make with a family knowing you are helping them arrange something special, but also personal for there loved one is a feeling I cannot describe. I take pride in providing the best service I can for them, that's what makes me happy.

I lost my Nan in December and to experience the pain of grief, I can relate to what families are going through. Which is why I want to help, and bring something positive to the grief they are experiencing.

Outside of work I'm a mother to three beautiful children, who are my life. we enjoy movie nights, days out but also spending time with extended family. I've always told my children you can achieve anything in life if you work hard for it.

Danica - Funeral Arranger and Social Media Representative

‘Every life deserves to be respected and celebrated, and every story to be remembered’

I have worked for Dignity for 5 years, I started and am currently at Holland Funeral Service in Malvern, however over the years I have worked at all the A V Band branches in Worcester and Droitwich Spa.
I have been lucky enough to learn every aspect of the job from arranging, to making loved ones look their best and conducting.
To take a loved one through every step of there journey with us, isn’t a privilege that I take lightly.

Before Dignity, I achieved a BA Hons Degree in Media Makeup and became a Freelance Makeup Artist. I then went on to be a Personal Trainer on the side, and then settled into being a Retail Manager full time.
I came to Dignity due to loosing a family member many years ago, Holland’s gave her a lovely service and an outstanding level of care. After, I wanted to be able to do something just a beautiful for other families. Which shortly followed a job opportunity at Holland’s, it’s like it was meant to be.

In my free time I live every day for my son Jude, we enjoy going on adventures, days out and our weekly babychinno trips to Costa ☺️

When I have come to the end of my journey
And I travel my last weary mile,
Just forget if you can, that I ever frowned
And remember only the smile.

Forget unkind words I have spoken
Remember some good that I’ve done
Forget that I ever had heartache
And remember I had loads of fun.

Forget that I’ve stumbled and blundered
And sometimes fell by the way.
Remember that I have fought some hard battles,
Yet won at the end of the day.

Then forget to grieve for my going
I would not have you sad for a day
But in summer just gather some flowers
And remember the place where I lay

And come in the shade of the evening
When the sun paints the sky in the west
Stand for a few moments beside me
And remember only my best.
