Do you suffer with Hayfever around this time of year?

Here are 5 tips to help you manage seasonal allergies naturally:

1. Source some local honey and take a spoonful a day in the couple of months leading up to and during your usual hay fever period

2. Try drinking nettle tea - it’s one of nature’s natural antihistamines and can help to relieve symptoms like sneezing, itchy eyes and a runny nose

3. Boost your immune system with supplements such as magnesium, quercetin, turmeric, vitamins A, C, D & E, NAC and probiotics and/or the homeopathic remedy, A.Vogel Pollinosan… even better, instead of guessing, go and see your local kinesiologist so they can muscle test you and find out EXACTLY which of these your body will benefit from!

4. Reduce your intake of dairy to reduce mucous production which will make symptoms worse

5. Up your intake of garlic - it’s best eaten raw and is a natural anti-inflammatory and antihistamine. If you can’t stomach that, try taking garlic tablets. Not only will it boost your immune system, it also acts as a natural decongestant and can help to relieve symptoms.

6.....a bonus tip! Even better is to book in with your nearest kinesiology practitioner so that they can work with you to address the root cause of you hayfever!

Some people who don’t need it, take magnesium, and some who need it don’t! The key is what type of magnesium if you go need it. If your supplement is magnesium oxide, sadly you’ve wasted your money as this is magnesium rust and difficult to absorb .

Mighty Magnesium!

There are so many benefits to having enough of this wonderful mineral in the body.

First of all, it's an amazing relaxant. It can help with constipation, sleep, reducing stress levels but that's not all! Check out the image below for all of the other benefits.

A deficiency in magnesium has also been linked to ADHD, due to its role in neurotransmitters that control emotion, social reactions, hyperactivity and attention.

Ensuring you have enough magnesium is also important to:
* help activate Vitamin D
* help control sugar cravings
* support bone health, to help get quality sleep
* fight inflammation
* regulate cortisol,
* support healthy hormone balance
* help leg cramps

Foods that are high in magnesium are, avocados, walnuts, spinach, peanuts, milk, salmon, to name but a few!

Are you getting enough magnesium?

Through muscle testing, our practitioners can identify whether you have a magnesium deficiency and find the exact form of it that suits your body! Every body is unique as so are its' needs.
