I have set up this enterprise to help support individuals in their own homes.This could be someone who would just like a chat, or they may require some other services that I offer. I have worked in healthcare for just over 30 years, previously having been a qualified nurse for 27 years,working in a variety of different departments and in the community. This has involved caring for people with a ra
nge of different medical problems and in a wide range of situations. As well as the practical elements of the job, much of my work has involved offering support, reassurance and providing information. Building a rapport with individuals that I was caring for, whilst delivering a service, has always been a favourite part of my job role. By setting up Help For You, I aim to support those in need of extra help in their home. I always strive to deliver high standards of care and support in my work, and have always been dedicated, hard working, open and honest. The types of services that I provide includes:
Ordering and collecting prescriptions
Just a general chat
Ordering online shopping
Dealing with home administration e.g. Short walk companion
Ironing
Prompting medication
Light meal preparation
Sitting Service
This is not an exhaustive list. Feel free to contact me if the requested service is not listed here. However, I am sorry that I am unable to provide personal care. I have been through the Community Catalysts Programme, Worcestershire (completed on 10th November 2023). I have an enhanced DBS and am fully insured. I am up to date with the required training. Certificates can be viewed in my portfolio, on request. I also have a professional membership with NACAS (National Association of Care & Support Workers ) who give me guidance, support and advice.
